Eh, I've had better weeks but I'm trying to make good choices on food and move around alittle more. Good for you doing the whole gym thing. My family is just too needy right now and I can't even spare the time to go to the gym. Walking here at work and doing housework has to suffice for the time being. Over the weekend (sunday) we went to Ventura and walked around the harbor looking at all the luxury yahts and stuff (spelled wrong, where IS my brain?) so I did get some major walking in... Good to see you're getting out and around and taking care of yourself.
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

If this rain ever stops (tornadoes ripped thru the DC area yesterday from the storms) I might go outside and get busy in my yard again!  I'm working on my brick patio and putting stairs on the hill in my back yard...Each block weighs 85 lbs!  It's good exercise for me...Plus I'd like to turn over all my gardens and start filling with several yards of mulch...That is always such a great work out! I love yard work...makes you use every muscle...It will prepare me for swimming...My favorite exercise of all.  DH and I bought two bikes too...must get used to those itty bitty seats...ouch! Plus I'm reading up on vitamins and amino acids and looking to put my deficiencies back to where they belong by looking at the entire picture ...researching one vitamin at a time...I am learning quite a bit!  And amino acids do some AMAZING things that I had no idea they did!  So I have upped my protein levels, added key vitamins and aminos for my specific deficencies and exercise to see where it takes me.  Learned that my magnesium deficiency could be the cause of my allergies and a ton of other things wrong with me....Interesting!  That's a lot for one day eh?  I wore myself out just thinking about tomorrow.
