Accountability... what did you eat Monday

Okay I am not 100% sure of my numbers could be lower on soup calories but this is what I was told.  On our way back from Tampa General Hospital hubby wanted to have dinner at Carraba's so I had soup and my bottle of water...I felt weird with him having this huge salmon dinner salad even dessert so I order bowl of soup...should I say it looked to be 4 cups probably. I only ate the broth of one cup, saved all the ingredients,  brought it home with extra broth and had more broth tonight.  The fat is way higher than I am used to and hurting my tummy & I am so tired after 6 hrs of driving, my eyes teared all the weay home. Wind was blowing while waiting for valet, that did me in. I thought today 5day would be an easier with drinks in cooler in trunk and I had no time to waste getting up there. Traffic was horrific. I got my bloodwork done and am so anxious to see if my Vit D improved adding the extra D3. Told me 100+ is  great on protein since no studies have ever been done as to how much we absorbed as yet and my kidneys are good. I told him "its about time they do a study since we are a breed of our own and need to know", he agreed, said he would see what he could do. It is a teaching hopsital I would think someone should be interested besides me. My results will be in by Wed, if not tomorrow. He is extremely caring and took the time to answer all my questions and I still forgot to ask how much intestine was removed!!! April 21, 2008

Made some of my new Cheesy Italian Mini-Meatloaf's tonight, but didn't feel like eating any so I'll probably have one tomorrow for lunch...

B: TJ's Blueberry fiber cake with light butter (5g)
S: AchievOne (20g)
L: 1/2 c. Fage with Splenda peaches and 1 NSA fudgesicle (12g)
S: PowerPop Popcorn (6g)
S: 1 serving of TJ's White Cheddar Soy Crisps (7g)

Ok, I did better today,,somewhat.... calories  1242 Fat 53 Carbs  95 Protein 94 And of course, my water! Still drinking too..and keep some on the nightstand for during the night!! Got my 2 mile walk in as well as exercise from rearranging the living room all by myself! Still workin it! Blessings Betsy

What a day...After the weekend I had. Blah. So my son has standardized testing this week, starting tomorrow. His computer has a virus. Lovely. I've spent my whole evening trying to weed through the spyware buyware crap that tells you you have a serious virus but buy this and we'll remove it...scans, pop=ups...For a internet savy little brat, I'm sure the only one in this house that understands the internet...Hubby is good with blown engines, I'm good with search engines..LOL.  I'm looking at my intake and need to get back on track somewhere...Where did all my protein go? I feel like I'm eating the same but I'm sure not... Breakfast: malto meal, tvp and soy milk, coffee Snack: 1 oz cheese stick, 1 slice roasted turkey meat, medium apple Lunch: 4 oz of left over fried fish (not enough protein there) and lettuce and tomatoe with ceaser dressing Snack: Orange, Protein Fiber drink mix (SoBe) and then I went crazy and ate a whole bag of microwave popcorn. That's 2.5 servings (yup, 425 calories) and 3 pc of SF Chocolate. Dinner: ground beef, rice, salsa and cheese in a stuffed bell pepper No dessert. I've had enough.  Totals: Calories 2029 Fat: 86 Carbs: 220 Protein: 115 Tomorrow is another day but I'm still up too late on two computers trying to get ds's computer up and running or they'll have to send us another one. Yikes. What a day. AGAIN.
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

I think crazy days runs in cycles.. I've had a lot of them lately myself.  this week is no different.  So you managed to get all the cals in and protein looks good.  Take a breath just for yourself.. you deserve it. Carla

I am doing good today on my maintanance plan I feel okay about the way things are going and that this is acceptable for me.  Hope all is well with everyone. B Coffee cream and splenda     Atkins shake  S 10 Almonds and Navel orange  L ham and cheese roll up    D 1 Boullion cube          1 oz roast pork           3 slices alpine lace swiss cheese           1 package green giant weight smart veggies minus carrots ( my doggie eats those)             S Coffee cream and Splenda     COokies...2 sugar free choco chips  Yummie treat 96 oz of H2o or propel or mix of them usually the numbers...Calories 985  Fat 47 Carbs 93 Protein 67 I was lazy on the exercise today...not a bad day

Well the dog will have great eye sight with all those carrots.. lol.. good day.. low on protein number and could use a few more cals for you.  Finding the place that works with maintaining is tough.  I am still working on it myself.  Keep up the good work. Carla
