Hi there everyone, it has been awhile since I've been on this board.  I just celebrated my 2nd year anny and felt the need to re-ground myself here.  Life has been great - the first year was hard, however this 2nd year seems to be going smoothly.  I am addicted to fresh fish, veggies and proteins.  Yes, I can eat carbs but very far few inbetween.  I really tend to stay away from them because I have pcos (which by the way since surgery has been almost non-existant).  For me, the surgery was my last option to take control of my life which was being controlled by pcos and I was getting extremely unhealthy with all the meds I was on for all the ailments I had.  I know this surgery is a big decision to make but it saved my life and I am very grateful.  Don't get me wrong, with anything there are issues or problems, and I have worked through them.  For those of  you considering the surgery, all I can say is do your research and find an awesome doctor, even if it means you have to wait awhile longer.  For those of you who have had it and wonder what the heck you did - "been there - done that"!  IT WILL GET BETTER I promise, but YOU have to follow the regime and do this right.  This is your 2nd chance.  You can not succeed with this surgery (which is just a tool) and not eat right.  So, with thqat bring said, I am happy I am back and look forward to supporting you guys when you need it.  Hugs
