Hi Betsy, Our numbers are so similar it's spooky.  I'm 62, 2.5 years out, lost 144, regained 20.  Calories are between 1200 and 1500, high protein always.  I also drink 80+ ounces per day.  And I religiously take all of my supplements. Recently I did heavy yard work for 2 days (shovel, gravel, leveling for new lawn).  Drank like a fish, didn't have time to do my usual grazing so accidentally ate perfectly and guess what !  I gained 2 pounds   I haven't found what it takes to get these golden metabolisms going, but I keep researching.  The best activity I have found is racquetball.  Not competitive, but just me hitting the ball around in the court.  So far, it is the only activity I have found that makes me break a sweat - and I love to sweat (it gets all those toxins out fast).  I live in Southern Idaho and we are finally getting a nice day here and there so I'm outside a lot more and the scale is finally moving.  Nothing huge but at least it is going in the right direction.  Maybe we need longer, steady use of these magnificent ol' bodies. Or maybe we need to shock our system from time to time.  I remember my fabulous Dr from about 30 years ago.  He was up there in years and was just slightly overweight (15 or so pounds).  He said to lose weight he had to stay under 800 calories.  That's not a recommendation, just passing on what he said    If my day goes according to plan (day 5 of the 5dpt) I will be at about 600 cal.  I'll try that for a few days and let you know if it works to restart the loss. I feel your frustration, but hang in there.  We will figure this out.

I think you need to up that protein.  65 is pretty low.  the fat is a bit high and I would try and get the carbs down a bit. I remember you doing somewhere around 1200 before.  I think 1400 is ok but you need to do more walking than.  Most importantly you need to get tha****er in.. at least 100 oz a day.  that will keep you flushed out and moving along.  give it a try... that ten pounds will be gone in no time. wow I could have had a v-8..lol... I always forget about those things myself.  not sure of the totals but you probably hit 1000 and 70 protein.  could up the protein a bit.  good choices not so sure about the pizza and if it had any real nutrientional value. Stay well Carla
