Accountability - What did you eat Saturday?

LOVE the sushi roll idea. Yeah, that PMS thing is awful. It's either salty fatty snacks or sweet chocolate snacks. I've been blaming my need of SF Chocolate covered stuff on TOM (time of the month) for some time but TOM never shows up. So much for menopause.  Before WLS I'm sure the list of food you put here would have been a snack between actual snacks (at least for me) so I don't think you sunk your sailboat with this...And I think you have a bit of leeway after your teeth cut you back for so long. Good going, in any case!

HOLY CRIPE! Your totals look like mine! But I wouldn't ever be brave enough to eat Cheese Blintzes and sausage AND cookie dough in one day...I'd be so sick from the fat it would make it less likely that I'd be able to eat my Dark Chocolate Covered Coffee Beans and I can't stand a day without those(LOL)!  Are you trying to increase or maintain? I'm attempting an increase so I completely understand the concept.

LOL! True confessions on my part! I don't dump hardly at all ever. Fat is no problem and for the most part, neither is sugar.  I am trying to lose right now. I started at 245 went down to 159, crept back up to 177 (more like flew not crept) and am now trying to get to 150.  Current weight is 172.5. I'm a size 12, my ultimate goal is a size 8. I figure at about 135, I'll be there. Anyway, I'm just trying to get to 150 by 07/04/08. I would have to lose 2 pounds a week to do that. I think I can. Most days I eat about 1700 calories and my goal is to get down to 1500 cal. I see no need to go below that number at this point.  I was probably eating well over 3000 cal/day prior to this latest diet attempt.

I would say you're getting it going right now...My only suggestion would be to lower the carbs and up the protein and see if that works. It tends to work for newer pouches. I don't count fat too much, myself, bu****ch the protein and make sure i get over 120 grams a day. After that I add calories (usually fruits and veggies) and most carbs are good ones like whole grains. I'm still early out (22 months) and can't do too many breads..Just don't like the way it makes my pouch feel or the sleepy feeling it gives me later. I'm struggling to get in 2000 calories right now because I can't do much of the high fluff stuff. Good luck to you...We're here to encourage and help you along...

Went out today to look for hanging plants, well I guess it is still a little to early yet because I only saw pansies being sold, will have to check again in a few weeks. Anyway the temperature dropped some today, was a good 20 degrees cooler than yesterday, it's best to wait till it's a little warmer.

I can understand the weather thing. I used to live in Montana for 6 years...Don't miss the winters much, except when I look out and see brown desert instead of winter wonderland..Our dafodiles lasted about two weeks, that was in january. My tulips are gone and probably in (summer) hybernation now.  Today will be 95 degrees but tomorrow will be 69.  OOOoo. Lima Beans. I think I need to put those on my shopping list this week. Sounds really good. And the flounder. Every time someone eats fish on this board I start getting ideas about my salmon or tilapia, but flounder sounds wonderful too. Shopping list!

See you tomorrow!
