Accountability - What did you eat Saturday?
Yikes. Busy busy day today. We had two families come over for a barbeque. Between running with stuff and trying to figure out what to eat I didn't make choices too well. number one on the list..A wine cooler. No good stuff and all calories AND it made me nearly sick from the high sugar.
Breakfast: skipped the normal hot cereal and off to town for shopping: 3 egg omelet, ortega chili peppers and swiss cheese, 1 cup of cottage cheese, no spuds. coffee
Snack: well, before we left for breakfast, I had a protein bar
Lunch: 2.5 oz can of tuna on a bed of shredded lettuce and some salad dressing (low fat ranch, I think).
No afternoon snack, strange. I wasn't hungry, just really busy cleaning house.
Dinner: 1/3 lean beef patty, 1 slice cheddar cheese, a small salad with rasp pom vinegrete, also ate 6 slivers of deep fried breaded zucchini..yum. and some dip.
Dessert: 1 daquiri wine cooler.
Late night snack: microwave muffin.

Well, tomorrow is another day. How did you do? After that wine cooler, I'm surprised I can remember how to work this computer...LOL. Quick to get wasted, quick to get over it.

We have a great group of friends. Actually, my husband's oldest and dearest friend, his wife and daughter and his wife's parents came out for a barbeque. We had burgers and franks and chicken..We have so much left over, I'll be putting the chicken on my salads for the next three days, I'm sure. Measured carefully. LOL.

I add protein powder (soy) to my hot cereal to boost the protein. It tends to flavor it whatever flavor the protein is but it's not obnoxious.

I'm nearly two years out (22 months) and trying to get up to my goal weight the doctor set for me.
I make 3T malto meal in the morning and put a scoop of soy protein powder in with it and one cup of soy milk. That brings the total protein up to about 33 grams. Better than eggs, I figure and it warms up my pouch, which makes me feel better in the morning. I put a packet of splenda and some butter buds and I'm good with that breakfast for about two hours.

The tortilla is made into a PB&J sushi roll. It is kinda a fun treat. I spread the Peanut butter and jelly on the tortilla and roll it up then I slice it like a sushi roll and voila.
I was very active today. So I got in a bunch of excersice but no excuse for the continual eating will do better today.
