Yummy accidental lunch

So I have taken to (as of lately, anyway) canned meat, like chicken breast. Something easy and simple I can throw in my bag and bring to work. So this weekend while I am out shopping I decide to try this chicken spread stuff in a can. Just for something different, since I have never tried it. I throw it in my bag this AM and head off to work. For some reason, I thought it was like some type of chicken salad type spread, not just plain meat. So I have no Miracle Whip or onion or anything to doctor it up with. I finally decide to spread it plain on some cucumber slices...YUMMY! And better than crackers, right?

Bumble Bee Tuna has a new flavored tuna product out that comes in a pop top can, so far I've tried the Sun-dried Tomato and Basil and the Lemon Pepper flavors.... with string cheese wrapped in a low-carb tortilla these are just right for a light lunch..... yummmo!

Yes, I have seen those. I must admit, tuna is NOT my favorite, unless it's mixed up with pickle, egg, and Miracle Whip!   I thought though that the Lemon Pepper would be very tasty.

You might just toss a couple of those mayo packets from a fast food restaurant into your lunch bag for such an occasion. I have soy sauce, taco sauce ... All sorts of add ons in my lunch bag for when something I bought needs something extra.  Cucumber slices? Hmmm. I have zuchini in the fridge at home. I bet that would work too. And I have a dehydrator (just bough) I could dry them suckers out and make zucchini "crackers'....hmm.  If I'm not careful, I may edge in on Eggface's territory as the Cook most envied.
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

That sounds good...You all are making me hungry...I could go for some cuccumbers too...haven't seen any nice fresh looking ones until recently.... And Little Missus reminded me to get out my food dehydrator!  I was going to do that last week...I gotta get hubby to get it for me up on a tall shelf... Cajun Girl had me craving nuked pepperoni slices and I saw some low fat turkey pepperoni and scooped them right up!  Threw those puppies in my cart and haven't tried them yet...I want to microwave to dry out and see how nice and crunchy they get!  I'm starving now!
