Really good idea! That and meatballs..I sure hate to put bread crumbs in anything anymore.  Also thinking about the sugar free version of the honey in those snack balls...Seems to give me an idea. OR TWO.
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

I'll try and describe it for you. I found the packages of TSP at Vallarta market over by where the packages of dried herbs are. A wall of packages is the best way I can describe it. cinnamon along with dried peppers and stuff. They also have granulated garlic in that same area. I haven't seen the TVP or TSP in any other stores but I'm going to be taking a look at other stores too.

You can buy it in chunks or granules. The chunks are good to make into croutons or spray them with Pam & sprinkle splenda & cinnamon on them for a tasty treat.

Okay...So last night...I mixed 1/4 C TVP in 2 T crunchy peanutbutter...Then I took 1 scoop chocolate muscle milk  with  a T of soymilk and made a chocolate paste  mixed it all togehter...I could not eat it but half of it...It was soooo filling...(peanut butter added a lot of fat, but I have wanted peanut butter so much lately).... It make a really thick and crunchy paste similare to the inside of a protein bar...I might bake the other half and see what happens...It tasted pretty good...Similar to a protein bar...Very rich...Could lighten up the cals and fat with less peanut butter...However as it was...It had 36 g protein, 9.5 g of fiber and a whopping 420 Calories...There was no way you could eat the entire thing!  LOL  (22 G of fat too!) eek!  No wonder those protein bars have so many high numbers!  It's impossible to get that much protein in a tiny bar without it! It gave me a little more understanding of "The Protein Bar"...I can appreciate where the number come from now! That was my mad scientist project last night...Was pretty tasty...

Oh MAN! That sounds so good! But I think I'd spread it on a cracker or something.
