I am almost 2 years out and want to do the five day pt.  I dont need to lose but want to tighten up the pouch and practice some self control.  Not that Im doing badly... just as a reminder I guess. Hard to explain. thoughts?

You know...Several weeks ago I was feeling out of control so I did a single day fast and my pouch tightened up pretty good. I think the 5dpt is a better idea than what I did out of sheer panic but good for you!  Very cathartic to do a self assessment and see where you are from where you've been. It makes it easier to see where you're going too... Good luck on your journey.

Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

Linda, I liked the 5dpt, it helped me with control, I say go for it if you feel the need.

I did it two different times,,months apart, after the holidays was the last time, to kill the cravings and reset the pouch. It worked wonderfully and I highly recommend it! Give it a try! Blessings Betsy
