Well the weekend is apon us and it looks like its gonna be nice here in Cali.  Hope you all have great weather where you are.  I have a busy weekend planned with a trip to the ranch and a bday party for the newphews.  whoo hoo.  On top of that I have to get my rv ready to go camping on thrusday with.. I cant wait to get a way for a few days. So how was everyones day.  I hope all went well and you are feeling good about your choices. So here was my day.  I tried a Boca burger for dinner not to bad at all and really low in the old calories mark.. I liked that. Breakfast:

Hi Carla, for someone that was thinking about food constantly this morning I'm low on my numbers today.  I wish we had good weather, it's raining here.   Edit:  Well I ate something else, a banana didn't help but boy it was good.  I don't keep bananas around much because I like them so much, lol.  Don't know why I'm up so early today, I have so much trouble sleeping.  I'm drinking coffee right now (surprised?, lol) then I have to get this house cleaned.

Yeah they are very low for you.. yucky rain.  My boss is on vacation down there right now.. well he is there building houses so I am not sure if thats a vacation.  really low on protein as well.  get to eating girl Carla

Our weather is gorgeous as usual, too bad I am not a beach bum, paradise here. FYI: The Boca Original Flame Grilled is really good. Have a good time at the ranch, careful on the goodies. Low carb very high protein today!! Captain or mates what do you think about the water, am I drinking too much 118 oz and still drinking???

I dont usually put down my fluids but I can tell you on average I drink over 180 oz of water a day.  I drink a lot.. opps.  I just think your cals are to low which I have said before.  I think if you held through the up and let the body adjust you would see a change.  I did the same thing you are doing and when I upped the cals I started loosing again.  It takes a while and some patience.  I am actually tring to get my numbers up higher again right now.  I used to do 1200 to 1500.  I dont know why I let it go down. Great protein for you .. very nice. Carla

Remember you are exercising now so you cals are right where they should be.  Protein is a bit low but you are doing great.  weigh to get in that gym and get the body moving. Carla

Had revision PS on Monday, and I'm up 4 pounds. Guess I'm laying around but have no choice. So I'll post my day's food here. B) Meatballs with sauce and cheese, 4 med meatballs L) 1/3 chicken breast, 1/8 cup mashed potatoes, 3 bites corn. Ate the whole roll, though! 3 crackers with homemade cajun chicken spread D) meat, cheese ,peppers, and onions out of a philly sub 45 cal Light & Fit yogurt 2 tablespoons pimento cheese spread on 30 cal whole grain thin slice bread EAS 17g protein drink no clue as to the calorie or fat and carb counts. It really looks ok, but maybe I'll look it up later. I think I've been around 2000 calories a day lately, which is about 400-500 higher than usual.

Hope all went well with your revision.  Not to much moving around when you do that.  Not sure of the cals and all as well.  I am sure the increase is due to the trauma from the surgery and all.  give it time it should go right back down.  You are doing great.  Try increasing your proteins to help you heal faster.  Take care Carla

OH boy, what a day. People getting disgusted at work and actually quitting due to the conditions...And we went to dinner with friends and she's trying to loose weight. Yikes. I kept my mouth shut about wanting to gain.. So here's my day: Breakfast: oatmeal, TVP, soy milk, coffee Snack: 1 oz cheese stick, 1 slice roasted turkey breast, V-8 12 oz  Lunch: 1 cup chopped grilled chicken, 1/2 cup canned corn, 1/4 cup canned peas (Didn't even want the salad) Snack: 5 stalks raw celery, 2 Tablespoons of peanut butter, 1 oz cream cheese Snack: 1 SoBe Living drink mix, 1 package SF Peeps Dinner: about 5.5 oz of prime rib (shared the 14 oz with DH) about 1/4 cup of baked potatoes, 1/8 cup of sour cream, 1 tablespoon butter and a margarita.  When I got home I was sure I having a RHG moment cuz I was lightheaded and all that. So I had about 6 whole wheat crackers and a glob of sunflower seed butter.  Totals: Calories: 2402 Fat: 118 Carbs: 165 Protein: 156 In retrospect, Ishould stay away from alcohol but it just feels so nice to relax with friends and a drin****asionally. So long as I'm not tossing back one each and every night I figure I'm okay, right? I mean plenty of people in my family are addicted to the stuff (the ones who aren't fat BTW) but I think one in 3 weeks is alright..I sure slept good after I got my blood sugar under control.
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!
