Welcom aboard... as the new captain of your ship we all commend you on taking part in our wonderful journey to that healthy place wea re all wantting to go.  Now lets see what you got here.  Do you input your stuff.  seems like you didnt eat a whole lot here.  are you trying to loose, maintain.  what is your goal.  I can tell you now that is not enough water... you gotta drink if you want to keep your system flushed out and operating at optial peak performance.  Lots of breads I see as well and could use a bit more protein.  remember the order the body consumes .. sugar, carbs, fat and than protein.  So if you limit the first few things on the list it really attacks the fat and you can see it melting away. Try spark people or fit day.  It is a great resource for helping you stay on track.  Stick with us.. we will all get there together. Carla

Carla you did great up until dinner-time! Toss them cookies in the trash and don't look back...

For me, well it was a crappy day for eating. I was swamped with patients all morning with a few emergencies thrown in the mix. It took me all morning to get in my AchievOne drink and some PowerPop popcorn! Then I was not hungry for anything and had to force myself to eat what I did for the rest of the day.

B: AchievOne (20g)
S: PowerPop Popcorn (6g)
L: Chicken salad made with cottage cheese, 3 parmesan crisps, and a NSA fudgesicle (35.5g)
S: NSA Fudgesicle and PowerPop Popcorn (7.5g)
D: 1/2 c. Fage mixed with 1/4 c. cream cheese and about 10 fresh blueberries (16g)
S: 2 mini ricotta cream cheese muffins (7g)

Cals: 1114 Fat: 32g Carbs: 68g Prot: 123g

Water: done
Vits: done
Exercise: brisk walk with family tonight (about 20 min) otherwise none

Ah you did good girl.. thats the way to do it.. the cookies got dumped is right.. i walked around and tossed a ton of stuff in the trash that is tempting me.. amazingly I am lower on the scale.  Maybe the body is getting use to the increase in calories and will adjust according.  thats what I am kind of hoping to see if that happens.. If not.. I am running to that pouch test pronto. Your cals are a bit low but the other numbers look great.. you are doing so well each day.  you have got that ship on curse control Carla..

Girl you rocked it today.  thats what I am talking about.  get those cals up to compensate for your workouts.  Very nice numbers.. protein is on the low side for you.. I dont usually see that.. with all those acheiv drinks I would think you would be a protein ball by now.. lol.. keep up the good work.. youre doing great. Carla

Whooo hoo.. must be a great pool player.. I see you sneaking in a couple times a week.. what really counts is you are doing whats right.  We love having you hear, but more importantly, if you cant be here you are doing all the right things.  Sounds like you are and thats what counts.  Keep on going girl.. keep that ship in autopilot and enjoy the ride. Wednesday was my last day before i went on clear liquids!!  My hubby took me out to dinner for my last supper!! Just had a salad with shrimp and salmon!! AWESOME, and today is all my clear liquids and protien shakes!! Surgery in 13 DAYS AND COUNTING!! WHOO HOO!!

Girl I remember those days.  Congrats on deciding to take charge of you life and getting healthy.  It is a scary road at first but I knew, at least for me, it was the best choice.  I have never regretted my decision and I know RNY saved my life.  So you will be on the loosers bench.  Know that those first few weeks can be frustrating, scary and you may even go through a period of regrett, but when it pases you will see that you did the right thing for yourself.  Know that soon you will be dropping those pounds and finding that new healthy you.. Be well my friend and I am sending out my angel wings and prayer to protect over you.   Take a deep breath and enjoy the ride.. you will soon be were we are today... Carla
