Hump day here and captains.. help.. my ship has run a mist.  This is not good.  It started with those stupid cookies I bought.  now my eating is out of control..  I am embarrassed to put down what I ate today.  I did a lot of traveling and could only eat a protien bar for lunch so when I got home I was hungry and just blew it big time.. so here it is folks.. hanging my head down in shame here..  Breakfast:

This must be the week I am doing purgatory its been hell. Thats a old saying, you bear it on earth and you will get a great return when you leave this earth...all I can say is there better be a big throne with a diamond tiara awaiting...whats the chances on that LOL   Had my washer fixed Sat but its not fixed, motor was ordered since its not spinning properly...the new water heater was installed today and I am tapped out. I still have to get my taxes done and I have to pay so I am really tapped out emotionally, mentally and financialy right now....another prayer going up that my central air doesn't go...its so hot here. I didn't ask for much last time. Hope he hears my prayer. Hubby had to go to have exray done the rib the military dr used to give him a head separated so catscan on Fri and they set up an plastic surgeon appt for him...this is something I don't need right now. It's been difficult handling him these past weeks, I just need things to be okay with him....40 yrs of worrying is too much for even me.....but Carla I am still smiling. Okay off my soapbox now. Had a light day on what I ate and drink but more calories, are you happy? I'm glad you posted early, my cable is up and down for over a week now. Last night I didn't think I got posted but I saw this morning it made it, then I went offline. Yes they are fixing that too. Bad week and its not over.

Yes I am join me in my quest to increase my caloric intake.  you had a smashing day.  wow.. the carbs are so low... that rocks.  the protein is so good.. you outdid youself today. Great job.  Hope you week from hell ends soon.  I am hoping for a bit of a rest myself.  this week has been something else. Carla

Hey my OCD friend :), every day is different, remember there will be good days and bad days, quit beating yourself up......so it's higher than you want but not totally out of the water......get that ship back sailing, you can do it! I was comparing yesterday to today, my numbers are almost identical, not the same foods just happened this way.

Me... look whos talking my OCD friend.. going on a pouch test over two pounds.. i am looking at starting one this weekend.. shhh... something has gotta give.  You know you need more calories than that..  Maybe we should start an OCD group ... oh wait.. thats what this is isnt it.. I think we are guilty of that sometimes..lol.. very nice numbers there.. just up that calorie a  bit and youve got it. Carla

You're right. At least I'm not hungry. I'm getting crazy with the eating. If this works and I start gaining weight, I'm going to have a hard time stopping this, I figure. I feel like I'm eating all day long, and I pretty much am. It's hard to figure when to eat and when to drink. I'm definately not drinking with meals so if I'm not eating, I'm either waiting to drink or drinking something..I have something in my mouth all freaking day long. We called in the additional financing on the house to pay the tax debt this year but it's the first time in my life AND dh's life we've ever had to pay taxes and it's all because we did a good thing for our friends and helped them sell their house. We got 42,000 profit from it and had to pay 25% taxes on that..Lovely. I haven't opened the SF cookies yet. There's too many other things I'm eating. That atkins bar shouldn't have ever been opened cuz it made my pouch really gassy. Breakfast: 1pkg Oatmeal, ¼ cup TVP, 1 cup soy milk, 2 cups coffee 6 am

 

 

 

Snack: medium Apple, 1 oz cheese stick, 1 slice turkey lunch meat (8 am)

 

 

 

Snack: 1.5 oz Honey Roasted peanuts, 1 oz kettle corn pop corn, (9:30)

 

 

Lunch: Beef taco homemade, small orange, dannon yogurt 4 oz (11 am)

 

 

 

Snack: 12 oz V-8 Juice(12:30) , Atkins Protein Bar(2 pm), 1/8 cup Choco Coffee Beans (3:30)

 

 

 

Dinner: ¾ cup grilled chicken leg meat, no skin, 2/3 cup canned peas, (6:30)

 

 

Dessert: 1 oz kettle corn pop corn, 1 pc SF Choco covered caramel (1/3 serving) (7 pm) Totals for the day: Calories: 2283 Fat: 93 Carbs: 235 Protein: 152 I weighed in at 120.4 this morning. I'm either unable to gain weight or I'm highballing all my figures. I absolutely can not increase from what I'm eating now without adding tons more carbs and actual sugar. I'm not doing the sugar, cuz I HATE myself on sugar. It's the worst addiction I ever had and I won't go back to real sugar in high numbers. I realize some things have sugar in them but I'm keeping the levels pretty low, or trying. I think after two weeks of doing the over 2000 (shooting for 2300) diet, I'm going back down to 1800 calories a day. I can't get enough done with my hands always feeding my face.  

Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

That is too funny.  All that food and you are still not gaining.. well you are up 2 pounds... Thats a start.  To eat that much I would have to eat all day too especially if you want to keep the choices healthy.  nice numbers there.. you are doing great. Be welll and stay away from the tax guy.. they will get you. Carla

HI Ladies (never see any gents). I'm usually in lurk mode but here to join! I feel so normal when I look at the menus here. I had surgery 1/2006, and have been doing extremely well. I did gain a few lbs. over the last few months after I had plastics done, so I wasn't working out like I used to do. But I'm back in full swing (somewhat). My new job just doesn't allow my workouts like I used to do them!! Summer is coming too soon so I'm back on the ball! Here goes... 1 Honey BBQ chicken tender, 1c. salad w/LF ranch dressing 1/2c. LF cottage cheese, some cantaloupe chunks 1 HB egg, 1 cheese snack, 5 wheat crackers protein hot chocolate, some butter popcorn :zap: 3 oz. baked chicken breast, 1/2c. rice, 1/2c. peas n mushrooms 2 graham crackers, some grapes Powercrunch bar Didn't workout today..took a little break. And I work nightshift 8p-8a so that's why my menu is so untraditional looking! I only count cals and protein and estimate those at that. Cals-1370 Protein- 100 april

Well those are some nice numbers to be counting.  Working at night can play havoc on a routine and when and what you should eat.  Looks like you did a great job and made all the right choices for the.  Welcome aboard and keep sailing with us gals.  I think we scare the men off, but they are welcome to join us anytime.. we promise we wont bite.. at least to hard.. anyway.  enjoy the journey and stick with us.. we can all get to were we are going together. I need to join this thread; B- Oatmeal and toast w/sf jam decaf coffee L- Fish sandwich D- a bowl of chilli, garlic bread and string beans Snack- sf cookies and cream ice cream I have got to get this under control. I only had 40 oz of water today as well.

 Pre surgery 300 lbs, lowest after 175 lbs, re-gain highest 249 lbs, current 211 lbs, goal 170 lbs!
