My pouch is on FIRE

OMG, after 2 days of fruits and veggies, I have  twice, and everything going down burns. Waiting for doc to do afternoon call backs. I really feel like my insides are on fire.

Sorry to hear this, I hope your doc has answer for you; definitely be persistant this isn't normal.  How are you handling liquids?

hey, not soo good with liquids today..I am very good with water, do almost a gallon a day. Have barely had 30 oz today. Still waitiing...thanks!

does mylanta help?  could it be bleeding ulcers?  They burn. Hope you find out soon.

I feel your pain...literally.  I just had an endoscopy for nausea and pain.  My insides feel like they are being turned inside out.  mine is an ulcer.  I was told that 10% of us will produce digestive juices in our pouch.  Since our intestine is up where it shouldn't be, something that has always been used to a 7.5 ph is now exposed to around a 1 ph.  It IS on fire.  I am trusting my surgeon to make it better.  Hope you get to the doc soon.
