Not the best eating day for me. I bought some cookies and messed up my dinner.. oh well.. I will try and be good tomorrow so i get it all in.. My protein in really bady.. may do a shake tonight to bring it up. so here was my day.

 Breakfast:

Not a bad day for first day back to work after vacation...I took a cooler full of food and still just barely made my 2000 calories.  Breakfast: oatmeal, tvp, soy milk, coffee Snack: Turkey lunch meat wrapped around a 1 oz cheese stick, V-8 juice Lunch: left over Won Tons from the soup, 2 oz of marinated chuck steak from a dinner over the weekend, 2 oz of chicken leg from the Thai food, 1/4 cup of the thai chicken, 1 spring roll - meatless. I brought a baked potato but didn't eat it.  Snack: 1 medium apple, 1 small orange, 4 oz Dannon Fit and Light.  Snack late: 1/4 cup roasted soy nuts Dinner: 1 7" flour tortilla, 2 oz of marinated beef steak, 1 slice of cheddar cheese.  Dessert: 1/4 cup SF Toffee bits Totals for the day: Calories: 2112 Fat: 82 Carbs: 218 Protein: 145 I'm super thirsty now so I'll just have a cup of decaf before bed or something. No more can fit in my pouch today.
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

Thats the way to do it.. get those ice coolers full and drag it with you for the day.  Thats what I do.  Great planning I see with 145 for protein.  That is just to awesome.. hope your first day back to work was good.  Getting back in the swing can be tough. See ya tomorrow Carla

Very hot 91 today!!!  Well it wasn't a virus or cold yesterday I must have strained my larynx screaming last like a crazy woman. All you TOM's must have rubbed off on me, I just get so impatient having to repeat everything 4 times. Head injuries are rough and I know I should bite my tongue and be compassionate but some days I just need my own space. Today I realized it made no difference I got upset  yesterday he didn't even remember. All that negative energy for nothing! So not worth it. Today I prayed for patience and a pizza!! Then a  needed a mini dove bar (about the size of my little finger) and now I am happy again. I did do okay numbers wise.

Happy overall with my day, I wanted to eat yesterday and other than the Quaker bar I'm very happy.  I need to get some protein bars I guess, I like the feeling of having a treat.  Last night I wanted to graze. March 31, 2008

Those SFcookies mess me up too! They are more filling than they look.  Lately though, everything seems to make my pouch grouchy...I seem extra sensitive to dairy...That CAN NOT happen!  LOL B: 1/2 C Coffee, 1/2 C Soymilk, 2oz Protein powder ~1Tsp coconut oil and multi vits L: 5 1/2 oz Boiled shrimp w/ 1 oz ****tail sauce S: Fiber Essential Cereal (Wegmans brand version of Fiber One 1/2 the price) YUMMY! D: 1C 15 bean soup and 3oz Baked chicken and 1/3 C spinach (cleaning out fridge of left overs) S: 1/2 C 2 % Fage yogurt and 1 C Strawberries sweetened with Stevia <----first taste at this stuff! Very nice!  Mixes well, no after taste!  S 1 fresh Kiwi Fruit, 1/2 C Fiber Essential (dry) cereal S: 1oz swiss cheese, 8 olives, 6 water crackers Fat: 36.5     Carbs: 142     Protein: 116     Fiber: 48.5     Calories: 1292   Sugar 24.5 Okay...Off to my mammogram...oh joy! ;-P

Ouch I hate those things and since I have no boos anymore there is nothing to put in there.. I just have extra bags I carry around.  look at you kicking it with those numbers... good job.. Have fun and when its over you can say whoo all done. Carla
