Hi Anita ~ My mother and I are both anemic and we take this http://www.optimalhealthsystems.com/display.asp?id=26 The last time my iron was checked I was told that I wasn't anemic.  That told me that it works great.  I still take it daily.  One pill twice a day and not with calcium as they affect the absorbtion of each other.   You could give this a try.  It has no binders or fillers in it and that means that you have don't have the usual back ups that iron pills can cause.   Diane

Hi Diane!  This is of one of the two iron supps I am taking!  (Different brand)  I have had no trouble with this iron...ever! (Even after tripling the dosage)  I love the taste (Didn't used to like it at all)...It doesn't bind me...My hands and feet feel warmer...But since my TOM...I have had the worst time at night...I cannot get warm and feel like I am freezing to death. It's so awful. I got out of bed last night and exercised just to get my heart rate up enough to get warm so I could fall asleep! During the day I am fine. I still feel fine though.  Even my urge to chew ice stopped...(Either that or I sub-conciously quit when i heard it was a symptom of anemia!)  I'm weird like that!  I rebel!   I'm glad it worked for you!  It seems to be the best fit for me...I just hope the stuff works! I am so ready to get moving again! I'm tired of trying to take it easy...I want to get gardening! I'm ready! LOL Hope you are doing well Hugs Anita
