I have been trying all week to raise the cals I am eating and trying to brave through this little weight increase hoping they come together.  I was down a pound today which made me happy and I am feeling better now that I have brought my calories up a bit.  Lets just see if my body likes it and goes back to my maintaince weight again. See you all tomorrow Carla

Good luck in bringing your calories up. Today I just wanted to snack all day long. I know what that means...TOM must be on his way...Yikes. So that means the scale will go up all on it's own. Deep breaths...I know the weather just sucks. Today was so windy! The sun was shining here but it was blowing and cold all day long.  Breakfast: Malto meal, protein powder, soy milk and coffee Second breakfast: 3 fried eggs, 2/3 cup refried beans, salsa, tons of cheese (probably 2/3 cup of shredded) Snack: 1/8 cup NSA Yogurt Raisins, 1/8 cup Smoked Almonds, 1/8 cup chocolate covered coffee beans Lunch: 1 cup won ton soup with added chicken and vegetables (1/4 cup of that) Dinner: 4 oz T-Bone Steak. half a medium pototoe baked.  Dessert: 3 SF Peeps.  I may want a snack later but I sure shouldn't have one...Calories and everything are just too high already.  Totals: Calories: 2269 Fat: 108 Carbs: 202 Protein: 136

So hot today, very humid and had to have my washer fixed only to find out at that moment washer wasn't leaking but motor was shot, the water heater was leaking so I am online looking for a decent priced watewr heater...when it rains its pours. Last week was the dishwasher. These are all new since 2005 and my warranties of course are up...2nd time since I built my house in 96 I have replaced my appliances. The electric surges are murder in Florida. I pray every night I lay down on that pillow my central air doesn't go. Well enough of my rant here's all I was able to fit and it really was hard tonight to get those leftover scallops in...normally I can't eat leftover due to urticaria..no seafood LOL I live on it and no leftovers. Everyone have a blessed Sunday....

Morning Carla, yesterday was a beautiful day for the family reunion.  We had almost 50 people there, so I got to see some family I hadn't seen in a year, sad but true. I didn't use fitday but can say I know I didn't meet protien goal, calories probably are in the average range.  I'm sure the carbs and fat are higher because I did eat some of the desserts too; just a couple of bits of bread pudding and banana pudding but they weren't sugar free.....my body let me know it was time to stop; so that's a plus.

Am I the odd ball here... I have been out 3 yrs ( nearly) and Lord knows I DO NOT eat protein bars and protien shakes.... YUCK YUCK YUCK.... I would rather eat my protien in the form of meat or dairy or anything but teh dreaded drinks. I will, from time to time have a south beach ceral bar and they have 10 gram of protien... That is the closest I can go.  Here is what I had yesterday...  Breakfast- 2 eggs mixed with 2 oz ham and 1 piece reduced fat swiss cheese 1  100-cal high fiber english muffin ( Thomas light) with spray butter & sugar free jelly Lunch- Went out to Edwardos Italian Rest. 1/2 portion of Lasagna with extra chicken about 1 cup lettuce salad with italian dressing Dinner- 1 cup cottage cheese with cool whip and dry jello ( black cherry)- Sounds groos but is way yummy all mixed together. Snack- 2 packets of diet cocoa (50 cal) with cool whip 1 serving choch. teddy grams

Nice to meet you.  Yes you are far lower on your protein.  the trick with that is it really helps get that excess fat off.  Many people do their protein via foods so if you can get it in thats great.  I would never make my 100 plus goal without the suppliments.  Where are you on your journey.  Still loosing, maintaining.  Let us know so we can support you in your travels. Carla
