Well, this weekend signals the end of my one week scheduled vacation. I took this week off to be home while my son was on spring break. Being the typical teenage boy, he's not home. So hubby and I got to spend the whole week together doing stuff. Or not. It's been a good week. These days off without our son around make me realize that retirement will be just wonderful. I'm looking forward to that. AND we got the tax situation taken care of. Woo Hoo. One more thing off my mind.  Breakfast: malto meal, soy protein powder, soy milk, coffee Lunch: 11 am: 5 oz deep fried chicken and french fries (about 2/3 cup).  Snack: 1/8 cup choco covered coffee beans, 1 cheese stick and 1 slice OM Salami. 1:30 Snack: 3 pm: 1/8 cup NSA Yogurt covered raisins, 1/8 cup Butter Toffee covered peanuts, 4 oz Dannon Yogurt 3:30 Dinner: 5 oz carne asada, 2 small flour tortillas, 1 oz jack cheese, salsa.  6 pm No dessert yet. Not hungry at all. Maybe later but I don't think so. Maybe just some warm tea and I'll sleep like a baby.  Totals: Calories: 2104 Fat: 83 Carbs: 189 Protein: 159

I was lucky to own two pair of shoes before.. I now have a shoe rack in my closet and it doesnt hold them all.  Let alone all the other clothes I have.  i will be spending time up there today to find more room.  I already took over the hall closet and half my closet.  My other half wont budge as far as giving more space in the closet of course shopping is there favorite hobby too.. darn. You had a nice day.  very nice protein. Enjoy your time off with DH and the missing boy.  It's nice to have a break with the ones you love Carla

Speaking of shopping. I have a baby shower to go to on Sunday and shopped for that. AS I walked through the little girl's section I spotted a Hello Kitty shirt that was ADORABLE. Hubby said NO. I guess since I made him move out of "our" closet and build himself a closet, he's afraid that I'll out grow the walk in and start eyeballing his new closet...Yup. Already have my dresses in "his" closet, he just doesn't know it yet..LOL  LOVE shopping.

Hi Carla, Happy weekend. I was busy entering all my vits and supplements in Fitday today...now I can see which days I take which supplements...I take quite a few & they vary from day to day so sometimes it gets rough keeping it all in my head as well as my husband's so ignore that stuff its for me to track daily. I did pretty good food wise and managed to have candy and ice cream all in one day. This has got to stop...my bad! I think you will see why I am not hungry (LOL) and really don't have room for extra food, I have been taking most these vits and supplements close to 25 yrs.

surgery april 2005 and working on maintaining at I'd like to be 125, but currently 131. kung fu 3 times a week and watch my foods closely. Curious I had 84 grams of protein, you say that was still too little? What should I be, I thought I was over actually? I do think if i increase water that may help with the weight loss. I don't have much fat on me, still size 4 and occational size 6 depending if I am in juniors or not. Its a battle, but I won't give up or give in!

Well according to most ppl we feel that keeping the protein above 100 really makes a big difference in loosing those last few pounds.  Our body eats sugar, carbs fat and than protein so if you minimize the first three you will loose more weight.   Sounds like you are pretty active so you may not need to go lower as you probably have some nice muscle which weighs more.  Have you had your body mass checked.. Not the bmi but the body fat mass.  You might be at your limit now. The protein will also help you develope those muscles, not build them but help in defining them. Carla
