Unfortunately, I can't use the weather as an excuse. We've already had several 90 degree days down here. I'm just having a hard time keeping a routine with spending so much time away from home. Fortunately, it's not showing up on the scale, but as soon as it does, I'm sure I'll be making it a priority.

I just posted about my discouragement with my bmi at 24. I lost to 115 and now am at 130-131. My surgeons goal was 130-135. My goal was 125. I just like the sound of that number. At 115-120 I looked like a skeleton. I have alot of muscle and work out with kung fu 3 times a week. I really watch what I eat, and keep carbs very little (the white carbs). I still see a fat person in the mirror, and fear weight gain. I continue to go to a weight loss support group and am working hard to do what I know is right. Its a battle. I don't eat sweets either. I love where I am, and know that keeping fit is much harder than gaining weight, but its worth it I know. I th ink we need to encourage each other and see how things worked out for those ahead of us. Trying to not fall into bad habits and keep accountability is a good thing too. Just do what is right, and don't lie to yourself and you should be ok. We are all here to cheer you on! blessings, TAmi

I am 1 year to the day farther out than you....I reached my personal goal of 139 at 7 1/2 month out and continued to lose.  I think I was at 129 at my year post op appt.  I continued to lose and did get down to 118 but that was for a few days.  It seems I stay between 120-124.   Now I do weigh myself every day, actually twice.  Morning and right before bed.  I feel this will keep me in check and it has worked for me.  The past few weeks it seems like I have been staying at 123, but this past week I started eating a snack at three pm (hard boiled egg with a slice of pepper jack cheese with a slice of turkey), since Tuesday I have been staying between 120 and 121.
