Carla, I'm pretty happy with my day, I did eat 2 jelly beans (full sugar); I got the nutritional info (or lack of) off of caloriecount.com so it's not exact but should be close.  Otherwise happy with the choices, I was wanting that egg roll and ate to much though, uncomfortable after eating it. Carla it looks like you had a great day!

I'm back at the helm and tracking like a good girl - was nice to take a break for a day but I did feel kinda lost without knowing for sure how I did yesterday.  I think I'm happier when I track!

PB:  1 Tall Starbucks SF Cinnamon Dolce with soy

B:  3  3" Cottage Cheese pancakes with light butter, SF maple syrup, and 1 T flax meal

S: 1 AchievOne

L: 1.5 servings of Kay's Halapeno/Honey pretzels and 1 SNA Fudgesicle

S:  1 serving TJ's white cheddar soy crisps

D:  1 2 oz. Macafoni & cheese muffin

S:  1 Chike smoothie

S:  2 mini Ricotta cream cheese muffins

S:  1/4 c. Dryers NSA ice cream - cookies & cream

Cals:  1330,     Fat:  44,        Carbs:   106,        Prot:  118

The ice cream was an attempt to get my cals up, but it made me kinda shaky so I guess my DD will have to fini**** up (she's real bummed - not!)

Hello Bekah! I have to give a big nod and an "amen" on the tracking. I love (LOVE) to track my food intake. In some ways it replaces some of my old eating as a hobby. Like I spent a significant portion of my life eating, shopping for food, cooking food, organizing food, deciding on what food to eat or where to go and eat... I mean really its more than "just eating".  Just like smoking is more than "just smoking". When I quit smoking I had to change some pretty important aspects to my daily routine that wasn't smoking but it did contribute to wanting MORE smokes. Not eating as much creates a huge void in my life. When I quit smoking I played solitaire (old fashioned way with a deck of cards) for a few hours everyday. Basically whenever I wanted to smoke I would play a few games and rest my brain while occupying my hands. The coolest thing about being an ex-smoker is having a huge arsenol of information and experience to help with quitting food. One thing that is a complete saviour to me is tracking. I do it all by hand and reading labels. I dont use the fitday type sites because I like doing the math and thinking myself. I find it so theraputic and it is, in some ways, my transfer addiction. More accurately its just a time filler that used to be eating. Anyhoo just agreeing and chattering! I even log my "bad" days cause its even harder to do and a challenge is cool :P  BUT just in case anyone is wondering, I dont let my eats or my log dictate my whole day. Its a mixture of both. I eat pretty much what I want most of the day and then if the numbers say Im too high or too low I can even it out with my choices for the rest of the day. Or I can ignore it and plan for better numbers tomorow. All in all it works well for me :) HUGS PK

That's so true - I think tracking and logging has become my transfer addiction for sure.  But I guess its not a bad addiction to have.  I also don't let my log rule my life - I just make adjustments at the end of the day...although I'm usually playing catch-up!

I understand the snacky part.. i have been feeling that way a lot lately.  You did excellent on your numbers as far as choices.  Hard to see where the cals came from.  maybe the pepperoni.  that raised your fat as well. Keep up the good work. Carla

The peanut M&M's were the culprit on the cals....a quarter cup has 220 calories!  Also the extra handful of regular peanuts added to the cals as well.  Did pretty good with reigning in the pepperoni indulgence...only had 3 pieces to go along with the string cheese.
