I had one back in December and had to get a total unfill!  Did you have to get an unfill or just liquids for a few days?

My band was removed due to a slip and replaced 7/3/08

I am not a bandster so I'm not familiar with the phenomenon...could you explain? Thanks.....

I am totally familair with this proplem.  I had a band slip diagnosed 11/06 and was on liquids for about 4 months.  The slip did not totally repair it self so I had to have it surgically repositioned and then another month or so of liquid diet.  I got an infection from the repositioning that required another surgery and removal of the band. For quite a while I wanted so badly to eat, then after so long on liquids, I  forgot (really) that I could chose other foods besides soup for meals.  You will get through this and live, I promise.  Do whatever your doc says so that your "bandster hell" is more than just craving solids and not something that requires surgery to fix.  good luck.
