Beautiful day in Nor Cal - sunny and 70 degrees!!!

PB:  Starbucks Decaf SF Cinnamon Dolce Latte with Soy (6g)

B:  Cottage cheese pancakes with light butter, SF maple syrup, and ground flax meal (15g)

S:  AchievOne (20g)

L:  little more than 1/2 c. Fage, 3 bagel chips, and 1/2 oz of Coljack cheese (17g)

S:  1 mini SF cheesecake bite, Power Pop popcorn (8g)

D:  1/2 c. salad greens with 1 tsp ranch and 3 croutons, 1/2 large meatball with meat sauce (9g)

S:  Chike smoothie (32g)

It is beautiful in cali right now.  Planning our first camping trip because the weather has got us going.  Very nice day for you..  Note sure what these Sf cheesecake bites are..lol.. sounds yummy. Have a great one. Carla

hi Carla :) Good day here, had a long outing and ate out. Gross food but I picked the best thing on the menu so what can ya do? The atmosphere was superb and the company too so 2/3 aint bad :) Wednesday:

2.25 latte (200 cals, 20 protein)

potato skins with cheese n bacon (500 cals, 3 fiber, 20 protein)

pork chop an dveggies (400 cals, 5 fiber, 30 protein)

apple and sb bar (310 cals, 10 fiber, 20 protein)

cashews and nachos (310 cals, 3 fiber, 10 protein)

potato skins.. wow.. that many cals.. ouch..   but you can handle it.. good day and even got some good protein and fiber in. Keep on having those nice days. Carla

Everything on the menu was very gourmet, wine, sugar, fat and more first in the ingredients.  There were a lot of pasta sauce dishes which is an absolute NO. I will have a glass of milk for my meal before I eat white pasta *bleck!* Everything on the menu was uber high carbs and fat and uber low protein. So I chose the skins knowing there wouldnt be added sugar and I could eat a couple and just scrape the cheese n bacon off the rest.  Plus, pre op I would have sold my soul to the devil for a plate of loaded skins.. LIke seriously I was a potato queen my whole life. I have at least 50 ways I would make potatoes (regularly at that). The potatos tasted like dirt to me... I was in total shock expecting them to have that comforting flavour I have loved for so long. Newp. I have officially changed my taste buds to the point that my absolute favorite foods taste gross. Have I mentioned I LOVE my RNY??? heheh HUGS PK

Oh come on Carla!  Do tell!   I finally got my calories up to a normal range for my comfort!  I do soooo much better over 1300 calories!  I went out for dinner too but I chose wisely and didn't over do it...But I did have a slice of Italian bread...I haven't had a slice in probably 6 months! (For a foodie like me...that's good!) Eating out raised the fats too! oh well....Better than my latest restaurant outtings S: 1/2C Coffee 1/2C soymilk 1 Scoop protein powder B: Fiber One Bar L: Homemade Chicken soup w/ grains and veggies S: 1 oz Almonds S: 1 oz Soy Crisps and 2T Guacamole Dip Late Dinner out (Carabbas) Chicken Bryan     ~3 oz Grilled chicken breast with goat cheese, sundried tomatoes in a lemon butter sauce ~1/4 C green beans ~Half mixed veggie salad with Italian dressing ~1 Slice Italian Bread dipped in olive oil and spices S: 3/4 C Fage Greek yogurt With fresh pureed strawberries, sweetened with splenda  and Davinci SF vanilla syryp. Fat: 62.5   Carbs: 119.5   Protein: 95    Fiber: 31.5   Calories: 1444 Edited to say:  The next morning after I posted this day! I lost that two pound gain from a few days ago! (eating 800-1100 calories) I think I found my sweet spot right here are around 1450-1500 calories...And keeping my carbs and proteins about the same....(Little higher on complex carbs) The fat didn't affect me at all...but that's just today! I was only high on fat from eating out...(As that always adds fat) Nothing about losing weight after WLS seems to be set in stone! LOL I think as long as I try to keep at or above 1500 calories I will maintain a more stable weight for my bottom heavy body type and larger size. Let's see now if all this trial and error finally comes together for me.  (Thank you PK...I learned a lot about myself reading some of your experiences with food!!!)

Its very true.. I am trying to get my cals up again as well but I did gain two pounds.. which of course has me going.. I am hoping it will stablize and go back down. It usually does.. I will not over react... there thats my answer.. at least in this second in time.   Very nice day you had... and a piece of bread once in a while is a good thing.
