Hump day... here we go.. how you all doing.. I had a very interesting call today to go to.. hmmmm... if you all only knew the things people ask me for help with.. oh my goodness. Enough said about that one as my head is still shaking... How was your day folk.. time to sound off.. lets hear how well or how badly your doing I did ok I think.. carbs a bit on the high side but great protein..... I actually ate what the family ate tonight... what a concept...hehehehehe Here it is

Why or why can't I eat tuna salad...anyone else have a problem with it...I made it with miracle whip two mouthful eating very slowly and all of a sudden I felt like I was back to first 3 months post op when things just wouldn't go down. So I moved on after I settled down to a drink which is where I should have started anyway.

Ginny, I can't do much tuna either, about 2 oz and my pouch is so full; but I do like it allot.

Wow sorry about the tuna.  I think its just very filling even if it doesnt look it and even though its in water it is still kind of dry.  I cant eat much either.   Low number day for you but your protein is there.. good job.  Hope you are feeling better now.  I have you tried the can chicken.. its good but will sometimes get me too. Carla, I had a good day really was jonesing for sweets tonight but didn't cave in.....grabbed a protein shake to get my numbers where they needed to be.

Just couldn't find anything else that I wanted to eat today...Maybe I'll be inspired by some sort of dessert later. I'll have to add that tomorrow if I do.  I'm officially off for the next 10 days so WOO HOO. Some guy in a mercury station wagon was flirting with me at the gas station...At least I think it was flirting. It's been so many years, maybe I'm imagining it. My ego loved it, even if it was all in my mind.. Breakfast: Malto Meal, 1 scoop protein powder, 1 cup soy milk, 2 cups coffee.  Snack: 1 oz cheese stick, 1 medium pear Lunch: 2 flour tortillas, 5 oz shrimp, moist cooked, 2 slices of american cheese and some salsa for dipping. (this made two shrimp wraps, not bad, different) and about a cup of previously boiled yams with butter buds on it. (wraps at 11 am, yam at 12: 30).  Snack: 1 Motts Blueberry fruit cup and 4 oz Dannon Light n Fit (blueberry also - this was YUMMY, about 2:45) Snack before I drove home at 4pm: Atkins Protein bar. Seems to me this was too high sugar some months ago. Not too bad this time, 17 grams protein.  Dinner: 4.5 ounces grilled chicken breast, 1/4 cup mashed potatoes, 2 flowerettes of cauliflower.  ADDED: Dessert: 4 SF Wafer Cookies I officially made up for the high fat of yesterday: Totals: Calories: 2036 new total: 2176 Fat: 54 new total: 62 Carbs: 244 (WTH? I guess the yams are all carbs, no fat. Nice to know) new: 264 Protein: 160. Yup one hundred and sixty grams of protein.  new: 161 This sort of thing may not kill me but it's not easy.

Thats a better number and should keep you around a bit longer... I love yams but the carbs are scary.  What a protein number that is today.  Ok so I have been eating more lately and I gained two pounds.. needless to day I wont be eating for the next month.. Maybe you are giving me your pounds.  Stop that... Have a great vacation and I will see you later Carla

That is totally NOT FAIR! I'm declaring a foul has been committed here..I'm eating all this stuff and YOU'RE gaining the weight? Stop that! The scale sait 119.6 again this morning. Up two and then down two? What is this?
