Good Afternoon!! I am happy to say that I have managed to lose 2 whole pounds since I last posted here. (3-15-08) Had been sitting at 150 now weigh 148 only 6 pounds to go- maybe I'll get ten if I am lucky. One thing though, feeling kinda w~o~o~z~y. Been so long, can't remember if  this is normal. Shifted from six small meals daily to 3 + protein supps (2) a day to ^ protein and - lower the carbs to see if it might help me get unstuck. Just feel kinda lethargic, sure hope it goes away. I even woke up hungry this am. Haven't felt this way in awhile either. Keeping the calories at about 1350 per day. What do ya think? Getting plenty of water and vitamins in addition to the shakes. Happy to be able to post my thoughts here. Everyone have a good day!! DeeDee

Good for you!  That's pretty much how I did it too! Had to get rid of the carbs! Protein fills that hole nicely...The more you get your body moving too that REALLY helps especially with the extra protein.  (This coming form someone who hates purposeful exercise!)  What a drag!  LOL I'd rather go rake leaves all day than go to the gym!  Or walk my dog than get on a treadmill.  I don't know why you feel woozy though...That doesn't sound good! Don't cut out good carbs and grains!  Just the bad carbs and processed breads and such..You know the deal!  :)   Is 1350 calories much less that what you are used to? Could it be that you cut out too many calories that you might feel that way?  I'm just asking so you can figure it out! I have no idea what amount to or not to eat to lose weight. I'm still pretty much confused about that part myself!  Congrats! You are in the 140's again!  I know that feels nice for you!  It's always nice to break new lower numbers.

Congratulations on the weight loss. As for the feeling woozy, Have you had any lab work done lately? If not, get it done to make sure you are not anemic or lacking something else.

Thanks you guys for the thoughts and advice! Had labs done about two weeks ago for something else. I think it is the sudden dip in calories/carbs. Not eating either as much as before. Don't worry though, I have not cut them out entirely, only the bad ones. Felt a bit better after I had my vitamin b-12. Have been rather busy today and didn't eat as much maybe I will have a protein snack of some sort. (chicken breast or string cheese, protein shake)  I am just so glad to see the scale moving again.  DeeDee
