I had corned beef and cabbage yesterday, I like it once a year. I knew I could not get to the gym today so I went for a brisk 1/2 hour walk at work during lunch time. I have done well on the exercise but need to slow down on the chow! Pants are a wee bit loser, oh well I will just keep trying.

I had some too....it was great and I only do it once a year as well. You are so right, it doesn't matter how well we workout the food part is just as important.  It's like trying to walk on one leg.  Both together makes it easier. Try http://www.thedailyplate.com/ for tracking your food, I love it

i did 25 min of weight training..and walked/ran 3 miles tonight. amazing things is the word RUN. i actgually joggied in between telephone posts ( i live in the way deep country), so i ran about 1 mile and walked 2, fastly. i never jogged before in my life LOL, but ive been training on my treadmill all winter. now im hooked. wow, that was a huge rush feeling after i did that and i then felt like i wanted more.  am i weird?

Erin Go Braugh. 3mi walks on Friday, Sunday and Monday. I took my niece with yesterday.  She is overweight and I was trying to show her what it takes.  If she can get good habits now when she is 16 I hope she can keep em for life. Special project at work so I have to keep it short. Keep on moving! Tmac
