AS you know I am the same as you in height and I have gone down to 116 myself.  You have great courage to admit those things.. and I feel the same way.  I was actually talking about this topic today with the people who are really bugging me to gain weight.  Not the part about I would weigh less without this skin.. yikes I try not to think about that.  I do love hearing that I am tiny and I'm to skinny.  I guess in my brain I know I am cause I have way to many bones showing in places that they shouldnt be, but I just cant make that step like you are doing. maybe one day I can do it.  I commend you on knowing what you need to do and doing it.  I think you are one great lady. Now that I have outed myself with all my flaws hopefully I wont be flamed to much. Carla

Yeah, knowing what I need to do and doing it are two entirely different things...I got home and stepped on the scale (gad, I weigh too many times a day) and I weigh 123 and change...right now. That's harsh but I'm trying not to panic. I actually had a snack of whole wheat crackers and cream cheese while I was waiting for dinner to get done...Unheard of last week. I would have had another cup of coffee or some water (or a wine cooler). I may just have that wine cooler later. Or the yogurt I didn't eat this afternoon from my lunch.
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

I never used to be a fish eater myself... Sometimes if the fish just looks weird I will start to feel sick.  I haven't had much trouble with fish lately though.  Orange Roughy is a NICE fluffy white meat fish with very little fishy flavor if you ever want to try a nice mild fish and haven't tried it yet.  It looks white as snow / ivory soap clean and tastes so nice(not soapy)  and gives good numbers too!   :)  (Tastes great with salsa) S:1/2C coffee w/ 1/2 Soy milk and protein     B: Zone Perfect peanutbutter protein bar L: 4 oz Chicken Breast roasted w/ 2 oz spinach and goat cheese mix S: 1 Purple plum D: 2 x 3 oz ham and cheese pickle only wraps      1/2 C Trader Joe's "Grain Blend"  (first time trying it...not bad...interesting flavor  (It was large sized Cous Cous, Orzo, Baby Garbanzo Beans and Red Quinoa boiled in home made chicken stock rather than water and butter) S: Skinny Cow Vanilla Ice Sandwich (They are almost gone!  YAY!) S: 1 Serving Parsnip Chips (T.J.'s) Fat: 40.5    Carbs: 135     Protein: 105.5     Fiber: 18.5     Calories: 1340     Sugar: 42.5

Wow you pushed the limits on the sugar intake today.. wow.  all the numbers look good.  Isnt it funny how we buy something we know we will eat if we get it and than say.. oh it's almost gone like its their fault its in the house.  We just cant throw it away.  I love  sf cookies but I wont buy them as they always come in a whole pack instead of just one or two.  the other day I actually bought some and threw the others out.  I hate wasting money but I wanted to know if I could do it.  It was tough as it clung to my hand but it went in the trash.  Now I need to learn to do that  with cleaning my plate at meal times..lol Take care Carla

I know I pushed the sugar!  And the last time I did the same thing....I didn't realise that I ate a Zone Perfect Bar AND a Skinny Cow Ice Cream sandwich on the same day!  I gotta really watch that.  My DH usually takes care of any ice cream in the house in no time at all! They were HIS idea! LOL I have tried pushing them on people...I can't even believe there are some left!  You don't miss a thing! LOL!  Good thing I didn't have bananas in the house! LOL

I have been very bad lately,  too busy and then the computer issues at home.  Here is yesterdays food.  A lot of carbs but the pinto beans also had a lot of fiber.  I am sure I will be able to to get back on track with my food journaling, checking the boards and excersizing.  I CAN do this!!!!!

Yes you have been fading in and out lately.  Your ship is running ashore and you need to get on there and take the helm.  I know you can do it too.  Bite the bullet, make all the unnecessary distractions walk the plank and take control captain.  Very low on the protein front there..  Set a plan and stick to it.. you will be sailing smoothly again in no time at all. Celebrated DH's birthday today and made a chocolate peanut butter molten cake.  Tried to adjust the recipe to make as many SF modifications as possible without pushing the sugar alcohol limit (I do fine with them now after having WLS, but DH can only eat so much of it).  Even with the SF mods, one serving had 335 calories!  Too bad SF doesn't mean calorie free :-) Okay, here's the damage: B:  usual coffee w/LF H&H, protein hot cocoa (Nectar Sweets Vanilla Bean Torte protein + Diet Swiss Miss) S:  1 c. nonfat greek yogurt w/ 2 Tbsp. SF granola L:  3 oz. chicken parmesan, salad w/ 1 Tbsp Trader Joe's champagne pear vinaigrette (this stuff ROCKS!), 1 oz. fontina cheese, 1 slice garlic bread S:  1 serving chocolate peanut butter molten cake D:  chocolate raspberry protein shake (4 oz. choc soy slender + Whey Gourmet raspberry), 2 whole grain melba toast, 1 Laughing Cow light cheese S:  protein hot cocoa Cals:  1649 Fat:  58 Carbs:  125 Fiber:  15 Protein:  162
