Its tough to eat when you dont feel good.  I hope you start feeling better soon.  you still had a good day and if you were taking easy lowering the calories for the day is not a bad thing. Thanks for posting for me... I had a brain fart last night getting things done. Carla

I track food on Weigh****chers, which doesn't give me the calorie counts.  Yesterday was a crazy-busy on the road day - DH had a small fender-bender in the morning, DS wound up with a viral eye infection and had to go to the doctor and get glasses, and I worked a full day around all that. Breakfast: Large coffee with Milk,  Hostess 100 calorie pack blueberry muffins. Total cals: 170 Lunch: Thomas' Light English Muffin, Smart Balance buttery burst spray, Tea, 1 orange. Total cals: 175 Dinner: Ham & Swiss flatbread sandwich: 350 Miso Soup: 50 Sashimi: 150  Total: 550 Snacks: Fiber One, 1 cup: 120, skim milk  (2 oz.) 20, Hostess 100 calorie cupcakes. Total: 240 Daily total: 1135 Not enough protein, I know, other than the dinner items. Big victory of the day: getting into a size 10 dress at Macy's. It's an Asian style dress from Evan-Picone, very fitted - no full skirt there!

That is so awesome congrats on that.  total is not bad ofr the day.  I am not sure about the protein total.  Not a lot there to calculate in.  Enjoy your dress and the new size that comes with it. Carla

Hi Dana, hope you're feel better this afternoon. I looked for Carla last night, read a  post referring protein causing cancer and just had to close the page (shakin' my head). I just didn't feel hungry at all yesterday and really had to push the cottage cheese with blue and blackberries about 9PM...I am sure its because I am leaving carbs out of my diet.  My husband  ran out to drop off a package at UPS for my grandkids and I told him to bring me a treat....after an hour I figured he was reading every label LOL and couldn't bring candy, with the colors of dye, sugar etc, couldn't bring chips or pretzels, carbs and preservatives. Got him out of my hair for 1-1/2 hrs just reading labels ROFL he comes back with gorgeous white, peach tipped roses and 2 chocolate covered strawberries. I can't eat strawberries, :( I sneezed all night from the roses!!! Just didn't let him hear me...I usually have calla lilies in the house most of the time because they do not bother me...he just knows "white" flowers is all I use...but it was the sweetest thought! Hope everyone has a stress free day, I'm still stuffed up!!

That is so sweet.  I almost cried.. I bet he searched forever for them.  You're a lucky lady.  Yes less carbs means less hunger I think.  I know that works for me.  almost hit 100 in protein.  Hope you unplug soon..  Be well Carla

I was on the phone with my aunt when he walked it with them and I really got chocked up. He really did surpise me. He always tries his best. Not sure you know my husband is disabled vet with gunshot wound to his head. So when he does things like things I know how much he appreciates all I do for him. Some days my shoulders get very heavy with burdens but he is worth it. He's sick today, his throat is is hurting, very rare he gets a colf or sore throat he is usually the carrier and gives it to me.He just ran to drug store to get some lozenger's or throat spray. I'm gonna make him so tea with honey nad lemon and some soup tonight. Hope it wasn't the roses that got him also. Lately I notice him sneezing after he's been outside...he turns 60 mext month kinda late to just be starting allergies. OMG it is so hard to see that in writing, 60!

Decided to start posting in this thread as someone suggested to me in my 1st post here a few days ago, thanks for letting me participate as I have trouble with food still and appreciate seeing what others are doing and getting feedback. For breakfast: 1 slice whole wheat toast, 1 egg Lunch. 1/2 a cup of shepards pie (I made it with a lot of hamburger, and a thin layer of cream corn and potato on top so my kid would still eat it) It's 2:30 now and I'm still reeling from the shepard pie, so full I believe I probably won't ever eat that again. I think I need to avoid potatoes, this always happens to me even if I have a small bit. Clueless still about dinner as I'm so full I can't think about food. I do know after dinner I need to force a protein shake in before bed. And that's my day! Will update when I know what dinner will be.
