Well I tell you work is getting more and more time consuming....  it must be tax time   Of course that has nothing to do with the boards I didn't get to my boxing class or the gym this morning so I am going to "TRY" and get in some free weight work during lunch and then go to my boxing class tonight.  I just don't feel as energized when I don't workout... So my friends, Did You Move To Lose and or Maintain Today?  You guys are doing a great job with  your challenges and kudos to you all for cheering and encouraging each other. Here is a great healthy snack for after those workouts...  My favorite Fage Yogurt NF SF strawberry Syrup Muesli (I add a scoop of vanilla whey protein) Fresh strawberries. YUM, I would prefer to eat this over ice cream.    yep I typed those words... Take care, Kathy

Kathy, You are always so great about working out I think you deserve a day off.  Me on ther hand, I took last weekend off so I have been hitting the treadmill every day and pilates on Tuesday and Thursday.  I am so jealous you can get Fage, I did buy the Oikos at Wal-Mart so I have to give it a try.

Just a couple of sets of stomach crunches - my even as I type that 'even' I realise how far I've come to take those for granted.  It was only a few weeks ago I could hardly do one, let alone 15 in each set!! :o) I have a questions - my friends trainer told her that it only takes 10 days to lose the fitness level you habe attained.  Any comments?  I do know it's hard to get back into once you've had a break, but 10 days??? Guess I should use it as incentive to keep going every day.

Due to some personal problems I had totally stopped going to the gym about 3 weeks ago.  I restarted Monday night, and I'm already seeing a difference! I weighed myself at the gym and found that I was at 219# (of course this was at the end of the day so I had all my food and liquids "onboard").  Today I went again at noon, and I'm 6# lighter.   I'm spending between 45 minutes to an hour 3X weekly, doing weights and then 20 minutes on the recumbent bike.  I really feel much better now that I've gotten back to working out.   I'm working towards a new goal of getting below 200# by the time I go to Santa Cruz for the Wharf-2-Wharf in July, as well as being able to do a 16 minute mile. Because I have been working out previously, I am finding that my size in pants is getting smaller, even though I am still not at goal.   Hurray for me!!
