I'm late getting this posted.....computer time was limited yesterday.  Definitely had a "snacky" type day and it shows in my calories....night time eating is killer for me and I didn't really eat a dense protein dinner so that's what set me up.  AAGGHHH!! B - usual coffee w/LF H&H, then 1 egg & 1 slice canadian bacon S - mocha protein shake (4 oz choc soy slender+4 oz water+WG Artic Frappe Cappaccino protein) L - 3/4 of a Quzinos Black & Bleu salad (tossed the flatbread..yay for me!), 2 tbsp light balsamic dressing, 1 pitted prune S - Revivial Autumn Frost protein bar D - 1 oz cheese, 2 whole wheat melba toast, 10 almonds, 1/2 Oh Yeah PB protein wafer S - protein hot cocoa.....then later on some SF butterscotch pudding....then later on 1/2 c. Fiber One cereal + 1/4 c. skim milk Cals: 1502 Fat: 62 Carbs: 127 Fiber: 31 Protein: 137 Mary Ellen Lap RNY 1-31-05 Highest Preop: 280 pounds Current:  168 pounds

Protein hot cocoa.. now that sound interesting... is that cocoa that you add protein to.  well late is never a problem.  keeping track is what its all about.  you had a good day and excellent protein.  keep up the good work and keep sailing that ship Carla

Yes, I add protein powder to a packet of hot cocoa mix, then add some cold water and stir until its a thick paste consistency.  Then add some ho****er (not boiling or else you "cook" the protein and it gets lumpy). My current fave concoction is BSN Lean Dessert Cinnamon Roll protein mixed with a packet of Diet Swiss Miss cocoa...yumsters!!!! Mary Ellen
