General Diet Question
I know I LOVE Shelly! I call her her Micheley! She is a hoot! I have made so many of her recipes...In fact I made her cottage cheese pancakes last night for a snack! LOL I'm making her soymeal/ banana bread for later today! I told her to publish a cook book too...but she's happy just posting and sharing! I read her blog a least once a week! Gotta get my Micheley fix for the week!
GREAT on the 81/2 pounds...I KNOW that feels good! You get well and heal and you'll be eating like a queen with Shelly's recipes. She's a genius! A food artist! AND she's one of us WLS peeps! I wish I could adopt her! LOL

On the 5dpt pouch test you didnt lose actucal pounds, you los****er weight, which is why when you went back to normal eating it came right back.
I also lost 6lbs on the 5dpt and 5 of them came back. Any time you severly limit carbs you will see a change at the scale, thats why with atkins/south beach there is that two week induction and such great weightloss.
Anyways, I am not sure how far out you are... have you seen the NUT recently? How long have you been stalled?
First visit to surgeon - 288 ~ bmi 45.1

Total lost - 153 Since surgery - 117!
Goal weight - 155 (mine) 180 (surgeons)
Current weight - 135 (2020 I lost 10lbs due to dedicating myself to working out more and being in better shape)

I had my surgery in Nov. 1999. SInce I live in a different state now I haven't seen my NUT since 2001. I am hoping to get a call from her today.
I have been stalled in losing my baby weight for a few months now.
Once I kick this bronchitis I will be back at the gym. That should help to get things moving along. I am also trying to eat like days 4 & 5 of the 5DPT. I'm having fruits and veggies as well. Hopefully all of this will result in more weight loss that is permanent and not jus****er weight.
I'm also having yogurt. The little 4oz Yoplait kids cups. I can't eat more than that at a time so they work for me.
