StomaphyX Question

I spoke with a surgeon's office today and they told me they are doing a new procedure for those who have gained weight and don't qualify for a medical revision.

The procedure is called an Endogastric Pouch Reduction.  From what she decsribed to me it sounds an awful lot like the StomaphyX. 

I was told it is new and probably isn't covered by insurance yet.  The total out of pocket cost is about $7000.

So is this just another term for the StomaphyX?
