Accountability.. what did you eat Wednesday
Ok so hump day is here.. yeah.. one more day and I am done for the week. So I decided to try out that textured vegetable protein on my ice cream tonight... omgosh.. was it good.. its like having nuts on my ice cream, granola or something.. It adds a total new experience to my ice cream. One of the things I miss is that crunchy snack.. well.. i had my crunchy snack tonight and it was so good.. The best part is i got and extra 10 grams of protein and 7 fiber for a only 70 calories.. how can you go wrong with that.
So enough about that.. How was your day. I am ready for tomorrows class and even finished a few reports and cleaned my office.. It's amazing how much energy I have now. I am like an energizer bunny. Before wls.. i was lucky if I got out of my chair for any other reason but to get more food. yikes.. how sad is that.
So here is my day.

I love days like today - busy and on the run all day.
Barely had time to eat - let alone dwell on it.
I've still got to have a protein bar tonight just to hit near 1300. And I find my system really shuts down if I'm under 1500. I lost 8 pounds at 1000 per day but it all came back while I stayed at that level. Now I'm trying to keep it up closer to 1500 and it's coming off again - who would ha thunk
I'm so thrilled to have rediscovered my precious tool.

Brunch - 1/2 bowl chili w/cheese, onion
Snack - cashews, cheese
Pre-dinner - wine
Dinner - shrimp(2), scallops (3) stuffed, broiled jalapenos (2)
Snack - Flaxseed, pumpkin seed cereal w/yogurt

Cal 1245 Fat 66.5 Carb 95.5 Fiber 22.5 Sugar 5 Protein 67.5
Too low on protein and too high on fat. But not bad for being on the run all day.
Had my 2nd hypnosis today - will post tomorrow.

Read your post and wanted to know--what is AchievOne Coffee? I am a 2 cups of coffee a day person. I would love to get that protein in with my coffee. Is that protein powder added? I tried the kind I am currently using (BodyFortress) with coffee and I threw it out (at least not up!!).
I quite using my protein powder for several months (thought I really didn't need it) then realized I wasn't getting in near enough protein. Now I'm trying all the over-the-counter products I can. Also, where did you get the IDS Vanilla Cream? What about the taste?

Robin, I get the AchievOne from bariatriceating.com......they have 4 different flavors, I like all of them but my favorites are the Mocha Java and Cappuchino (these don't stay in stock long). The other flavors are Vanilla Nut and Hazelnut.
I bought the IDS Vanilla Cream from vitalady.com.......the IDS are VERY good, I enjoy the Vanilla Cinnamon allot too, the Belgium Chocolate is pretty good but strong.
Ok, just a hit when putting your own protein powder in coffee, mix the powder with a little cold water first to dissolve it.......then add it to your coffee, if you put it directly into something hot it curdles and is aweful.
