heartburn 4 years out

wondering if anyone has this problem, I'm almost 4 years post op and im getting  really bad heartburn, im taking an acid reducer and it doesnt seem to help, i've been getting throat spasms because of it also, just wondering if anyone has this problem and what you did to help it. i have gained weight back im 162 now could this be the cause, i see my WLS nurse at the end of the month but wondering if there is anything to help this until then, its pretty painful.
