Yup! 35 minutes eliptical---18 minutes bike-- then stretched. Did pretty well eating-wise, too. 2 liters water B-2 high-protein pumpkin muffins L- chicken breast, brown rice, salad small piece cake (I know bad bad bad-- but it really WAS small) S- soy crisps, pineapple D- pinto beans and cornbread

I soooo don't like to already post that I may not be able to work out tonight... but I wanted to explain in case I don't post later... First off, I am traveling tomorrow (leaving straight to the airport from work and returning, God willing, next Monday), and I have a million things to do to get ready tonight... I only got about 3 hours of sleep because my sinuses have been acting up, and I must get into bed at a decent time tonight... SO!  I do want to try to finish up all I need to do and still get in my workout today, but I cannot promise... I hate that I sound like already giving excuses, but on the other hand I didn't want you to think I'm losing my motivation or sumptin'! Know what I mean? :-) Angie

Hey Ang, We understand, life goes on we don't stop living just to work out.  Just walk up and down the airport and go up and down the stairs.  You will be lugging stuff and you will get a workout. Have a save trip, and keep us posted ok? take care, Kathy

You know... I always do that at the airport... If I have a long lay-over, I don't sit down... I just wal****il it's time to get on the plane... :-)  it's funny how I don't really associate that with exercise, but it is! :-)   I don't have a laptop, so I won't be coming here until Tuesday... This trip will be challenging both on the exercise and eating fronts, but I intend to give it my best :-) Thanks for not making me feel like a goober! :o) Angie

Ang, I got 3 hrs also but not from my sinus infection, been taking avelox and its clearing me good but I tried to keep up with Dana and her coffee LOL and drank a cup in morning and one after dinner which I knew was gonna kill me but I wanted it....I don't know how she does it. I took a sleeping pill at 11 and 3 I took another, a different scipt and I still was awake till nearly 6.

ROFL, sorry about the coffee incident.....I have no reaction which is weird I guess because so many say it wires them up.......or maybe I just stay wired up and don't know the difference.  haha

Dana what is funnier is I only started drinking it again 6 months ago...had stop years ago because my motor would not stop...I used it as an excuse to go out dancing at after hour discos in the 80's & early 90's...guess that is why I was so thin but when I moved to Fl with my ex husband, present husband now,  LOL I had to make him stop drinking it...he was so hyper I couldn't stand looking at him .,,.he was just like a lady chit chatting constantly, with hand on hip and all. He still is not drinking it but now its because of his heart so when he sneaks it and I see that chit chat starting and the hand on the hip I go off on him for lying and he always lies about having a cup at work ROFL Now just imagine this marine with his hand on hip! Too funny

Kathy, Thank you very much for starting this eight weeks to a better you post. I found thur the last few days,. How I got off of track with the holidays and the major stress over here. This is sure a true eye opener to me. Plus I have a lot to be thank ful to know there are wonderful women out there that. Have join in the eight weeks to a better you... To support one another and to help each other meet there goals. Thur the good times and the evil carb times. I wish all of you wonderful women a good journey thur these next eight weeks. And know we are all here for one another:} Okay seeing how over here our nice 65 degree is gone :{ And we had icy rain over here today. My work out had to change some. So instead of walking. I chose to ride my in door bike for eight miles. Plus I walked four blocks to the gym and worked out for a hour and a half. Plus so far the evil carbs where not added to my diet so far today. So I think now I will go and lay down for a while. Because I will sure get. My eight and half hour of walking in tonite at my job lol Here wishing that all of you had a wonderful day and that tomorrow. Will be even more wonderful for all of you's. Taichi~~~~~~<{<:@
