Clothes size-height and weight question
Just curious. If you would like to chime it. I am 5'7, current weight is 189. I am wearing my size 10 jeans (a little tight) and I will always have to wear L or XL shirts ((****)((****) unless I get a reduction although my 38 DD are becoming 38 longs tehe. My weight is decieving or maybe I camoflaugh it well.
What are your clothes size and weight vs. heigth. just so I can compare my self. I have a non surgery friend who is about the same heigth as me and wears 16's but weighs quite a bit less then me. I probebly have more muscle mass then her, but I still can't figure it out.

I really don't think you can judge a persons size by weight. It's more like your measurements and the designer who chooses to use european, standard or larger measurements in their clothes for vanity. For instance when I shop Saks, the clothes are small in designers but their own brand runs much larger.
I am 5'3.5 weight 129. I wear a size 4 pant, have some 6's and I am a 32DD but have to buy 34DD since its too hard to find my size, I wear wacoal bras and they are wonderful for minimizing without flattening or rounding your bust. I wear a small to medium top, mostly mediums because I don't like flashing my boobs around at my age. Dresses are mostly what I like or skirts and they're always small. I had a breast reduction 2007 and lift was a DDD which is natural not implants( always had large boobs, had reduction in 1985 when I weighed 119, they grew back!) and tummy tuck and butt lift 2007. Doubt I be in a 4 without that. My hips are 36.5 from the 38 prior to surgery.
I'm just 5'3" and when I was at my lowest (155-160), I was wearing 8's & 10's in slacks & usually a med. top or blouse.
Now, jumping around in the 180's, I'm wearing a 14 in slacks and an XL in most knit tops or blouses--in a roomier sweater, usually a L. Unfortunately, I'm still 5'3".
It blows my mind the huge difference in sizes that people wear when they have similar weights & heights--just goes to show that body compositions are different even when their numbers are almost the same! I'm sure having plastics (which I haven't) also influences sizes.
Always,
Jo
He Jo please me know when you learn how to change the 5'3"..!!! LOL I am shrinking was 5'4.5 until I hit age 53...I guess its the osteoporosis in my spine and hips but I am not taking the Boniva that was prescribed, got it but never took it....won't take anything there is less than a 5 yr study on...and guess what last night I got a FDA Alert in my email regarding the severe pain all these type drugs cause for most patients. I am so glad I did not take it.
Thanks for the replies. It is amazing the differences. We are all so beautiful!
