Not a stellar loss
db 4 lbs, just what did you do to loose it? Jus****ching your carbs/sugar or did you incorporate more exercise...enquiry minds need to know....4 a week is great. I am happy if I see 2 a week and that doesn't happen unless I drop 500 calories aleast. Keeping a journal on fitday I fought until last week but looking at it everyday and taking the time to fill it out keeps food out of my mouth which in my case would have been carbs, good carbs but nevertheless it was too much.

I hear you... I'm lucky if I lose 2 a week, but then again I'm not trying to lose tooooo fast, just steady :-)
I'm glad you started keeping a journal... In the book Losing The Last 30 Pounds : Fundamentals Of Weight Loss they say something that I've personally discovered is very very true: "Weight loss surgery patients who have made it to their goal and maintained that goal for at least three years learned to measure things: weekly weight, calorie counts, intake of fluids, and amounts of exercise. To put it simply you cannot manage what you cannot measure."
So far, I got #1 and #2 covered... :-) Just started #4, but #3 is a work in progress... tee hee... :-)

Actually, I weighed in this morning at 203, and that's from 210 last Monday.
What I am doing is only eating fresh fruit, veggies, fat free dairy and lean meats. For instance for breakfast yesterday I had a protein shake, a banana and a cup of non fat plain yogurt with fresh blueberries. Not a big yogurt fan, I get the "Greek" style from Trader Joes and it's pretty good, has the consistancy of whipped cream. Then for lunch I had a grilled chicken breast and some steamed green beans. For dinner, a hearty bean soup with ground turkey. So I'm not starving myself at all. Snacks are fruits. I am also weighing myself every morning, it helps me stay focused.
I joined Curves and keep up a routine of a three times a week circuit training.
By crackie, I'll get back into a size 12!!!
