So how was everyones weekend.  I had a much better day today.  I planned my meals and stuck to it... That is a good thing. So here was my day
breakfast:

I have successfully completed the pouch test......boy was I challenged today though I almost caved in twice.......told everyone to eat that dessert or it was going in the trash. March 2, 2008

Bummer. My aunt just told me that wine coolers are made with malt (barley) and so those will be off limits too. I guess I mix my own with tequilla...Bummer. She says I can definately have oatmeal though..That's good. Breakfast: TVP and Mighty Tasty, soy milk and coffee.  Snack: 1 cheese stick and 1 medium orange Lunch (early lunch): 4 egg omelet and chili with cheese (gosh this stuffed me for HOURS) and a couple of bites of hash browns (just to soak up the chili).  Snack: late: 4 oz yogurt and 12 oz of V-8 Dinner: 1 cup of meat loaf made with corn meal instead of bread, left overs. Gave the rest to the dogs cuz it's not all that great and won't do for a third time.  Since I ate really early (6 pm) I may have a snack before bed. Not sure what but maybe an apple or something like that.  Totals (with out dessert): CAlories: 1642 Fat: 71 Carbs: 140 Protein: 113
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

I actually think I am allegric to malt.. at least in drinks... I cant drink beer or wine coolers without ending up on the floor and that was before wls.  Now I dont drink at all..lol... Nice day for you.. yes a little more would be ok for you.. Sounds like you are learning alot about this new thing you are getting into. Carla

Had a good weekend. Went to Mexico for a PS consult - I'm going to try to post the details tomorrow.

Anyway, I think I had a pretty good day...

B: 1/2 c. cottage cheese mixed with 1/4 c. Fage and splenda peaches (19g)
S: 2/3 of a Micellar Milk smoothie (31g)
L: Chicken salad and 1.5 oz of Kay's Halapeno/Honey pretzels (42g)
S: 1/2 serving of TJ's White Cheddar Soy Crisps (4g)
D: 1 and 3/4 servings of Cottage cheese pancakes with 1 T of Land-O-Lakes light butter and SF Maple syrup (26g)
S: Chike Banana Protein drink (27g)

Cals: 1162 Fat: 35g Carbs: 63g Prot: 149g

Water: done
Vits: done
Exercise: went for walk with DH and DD - not very strenuous, but at least it was something

whoo hoo.. I bet that was fun.  Now you have to have a passport to go there.. Hope all went well.  You had a great protein day.. remember to keep it up before surgery so you will heal faster.   have a great week and let us know the details when you get a sec. Carla

Hello Carla :) My journal is on a different puter which is being hogged by a young houseguest so I have to start journalling on this one for today :P I had an ok day yesterday. I ended in my usual zone of 1800 calories and 25 fiber but low on protein with a meger 95. Just not feeling the hunger I guess... Today has been a little low, so far but I do my best eating at night so we shall see by bed time ;) Have a great night!! HUGS PK
