Did You Move To Lose This Weekend?
I hope y'all don't mind, but I am taking the liberty to start this thread... could have something to do with the fact that I actually did move to lose today.
Saturday - No organized workout. Did run up and down the stairs a few times, and moved some heavy stuff around... I know, it doesn't count :-)
Sunday - Bear in mind, I'm just starting...
12 minutes elliptical
12 minutes stationary bike
3 sets/12 reps - Bench press, 0lbs, 3lbs, 5lbs
3 sets/12 reps - Biceps, 5lbs
2 sets/10 reps - Triceps, 5lbs
1 set each lateral and front deltoids - 5lbs
Next?
Sunday 1 hour Zumba class at the YMCA, it is like Latin aerobics and a great workout.
Saturday 30 minutes on the eliptical and 30 minutes on the bike
Thursday 45 minutes on the eliptical
Tuesday 45 minutes on the eliptical
Last Sunday Zumba.
I need to do some weight training, I was oriented a month ago but the very next day took a tumble and tweaked my back. I took one week off and then have been back to normal the last two weeks.

Angie make sure you measure without street clothes LOL not the way I wanted that to sound...you know just keep on your underwear so you correct measurements. Would you believe I do not have a video camera, in fact my digital broke over 4 yrs ago, never got a new one. Pics I have are from my cam attached to my PC...I do not have one fat picture other than my face and shoulders...wow that was a good thing and a bad thing. I will put a pic of my persian on my album, he was a birthday gift from my daughter when I turned 46 and leaving her behind in Pa she was 25....she's never seen the fat side of me during those years and so happy my cat can't speak to tell anyone!!!!! I was over weight from late 2001 till Feb 2005, I will never forget how much I hated myself every time I had to look in the mirror. The research and hard work paid off. I praise my dr's hands everyday and I tell him everytime I have an appt. Keep up the exercise but don't kill yourself...
Unfortunately, my eating was bad.
I am joining Kathy's workout challenge, though, starting tomorrow. I don't know exactly what my goal is going to be, but I am going to work on consistency of working out, duration, & adding more weight to my weight training part of it. I need to make a chart or something to make it all more measurable.
Always,
Jo
