You are off to a great start! Good job!I don't think Kathy will mind you starting the thread. I had a pretty good week exercise wise, but I have eaten too much! Sunday 1 hour Zumba class at the YMCA, it is like Latin aerobics and a great workout. Saturday 30 minutes on the eliptical and 30 minutes on the bike Thursday 45 minutes on the eliptical Tuesday 45 minutes on the eliptical Last Sunday Zumba. I need to do some weight training, I was oriented a month ago but the very next day took a tumble and tweaked my back. I took one week off and then have been back to normal the last two weeks. Mary Highest/surgery/lowest/current/goal 297/287/183/187/169(which would give me a normal BMI @ 5"9")

Hey lady you are really motivated. I saw your diet for today, you did awesome! Monday to Sunday I do pilates 23 min 2 times daily. I added walking with 6 lb weights total for 15 min and without for another 15. That's it for me. Gives me long lean body and I am faithful have been doing exercise all my life other than the 2yrs I was down on my bad due to stroke. Cleaned and vacuumed as usual. thats considered exercise, right? Did some wash, had to lift those heavy towels into the dryer, a little more exercise. I add on everything I could.

The tape measure stays in my top dresser drawer, how vain am in? I am constantly checking to make sure it doesn't change in the wrong direction. I pray every day I stay healthy enough to take good care of myself. There are days I am mentally drained taking care of my husband but I still take this time of the day for myself...sometimes he is still taking while I am exercising or that kitty is pawing at me. Don't they know that is my time? My cat is hysterical, my reformer is up off the ground so he lays under it and puts his legs up doing what I am doing,,,.too cute. When I say lets go exercise he jumps out of his basket and comes to my garage. I made it a laundry and exercise room. LOL I laid down a pretty pink oriental carpet and put my exercise equipment on it with a TV...if I didn't I wouldn't love exercising. It's more like a little retreat room.

Current weight:120 and still 5'4

Angie make sure you measure without street clothes LOL not the way I wanted that to sound...you know just keep on your underwear so you correct measurements.  Would you believe I do not have a video camera, in fact my digital broke over 4 yrs ago, never got a new one. Pics I have are from my cam attached to my PC...I do not have one fat picture other than my face and shoulders...wow that was a good thing and a bad thing. I will put a pic of my persian on my album, he was a birthday gift from my daughter when I turned 46 and leaving her behind in Pa she was 25....she's never seen the fat side of me during those years and so happy my cat can't speak to tell anyone!!!!!  I was over weight from late 2001 till Feb 2005, I will never forget how much I hated myself every time I had to look in the mirror. The research and hard work paid off. I praise my dr's hands everyday and I tell him everytime I have an appt. Keep up the exercise but don't kill yourself...

Angie, I think you got a great start! I did a really good job all last week working out, but my son, d-i-l, and 3 little grandsons came from out of town for the wkend (Fri. right after work), and I didn't get any "official" exercise in!  Mind you, I was doing a lot of moving--I LOVE being able to (sorta) keep up w/ them post-wls--but I don't think this really qualifies as "working out"!    Unfortunately, my eating was bad. I am joining Kathy's workout challenge, though, starting tomorrow.   I don't know exactly what my goal is going to be, but I am going to work on consistency of working out, duration, & adding more weight to my weight training part of it.  I need to make a chart or something to make it all more  measurable.

Always,
Jo
