Well busy day and I tried some new things.. than I discovered that these new things really lowered the cals I would normally get. opps.. I didnt even crack 1000.  That is sad and I drank a protein drink to get it to what it is... opps... again.. Hope you all are having a great weekend.   Here was my day.

Good Morning Carla, I survived yesterday being at home, cleaned house for almost 7 hours, lots of laundry and did some deep cleaning.......staying busy always helps. Day 4 of the 5 day pouch test is done, today I'll plan for a trip to MIL and stay away from the sweets. March 1, 2008

What a day. Too much wind to do anything but be in the house and there's nothing more to clean in here...History channel had me all day long. Blah! Breakfast: Mighty Tasty and TVP, soy milk and coffee (and my vitamins) Second Breakfast (yup, we were in town early and went to breakfast) 3 egg omelet, green peppers and jack cheese, fruit cup with bananas and apples Lunch: Banquet Crockpot (sans the gravy packet, wheat) 1 serving with extra liquid Snack: 1 cheese stick, 4 oz dannon yogurt Dinner: Meatloaf (made with corn meal, no bread crumbs) mashed potatoes and green beans Dessert: Microwave Almond Meal Muffin Totals:  Calories: 1773 Fat: 83 Carbs: 152 Protein: 111 Back up to normal on the totals now. Good. I'm not losing but I'm getting smaller, apparently. Clothes that were too small in early fall last year are now fitting and I'm not really any lighter in weight.

I think I feel better but that might just be in my head. Since I don't know for sure yet, I don't know if what I'm doing really helps. I'll keep it up until I know for sure.

Hello Carla :) I had some energy back yesterday and the eating champ is back on top ;) I have problems with some of my fave foods because though they are very yummy and healthy they fill me up too much with too few calories for right now. Salad and yogurt have been axed for a few days so I can focus on denser foods to stop losing more weight. Saturday:

Breakfast: sbd bar, bran bar, apple (370 cals, 11 fiber, 13 protein)

Lunch: shepperds pie, sbd bar, pear (515 cals, 10 fiber, 29 protein)

Snack: south beach diet bar (140 cals, 3 fiber, 10 protein)

Dinner: 4oz pork chops (300 cals, 25 protein) 1 cup brussel sprouts (60 cals, 4 fiber, 4 protein) 1/2 cup onion based stuffing (75 cals, 1 fiber, 2 protein)

Snack: orange creamsicle/metamucil smoothie (130 cals, 7fiber, 23 protein)

Snack: cashews & nachos (440 cals, 5 fiber, 10 protein) ice cream (200 cals, 2 fiber, 6 protein)

Totals: 2090 calories, 43 fiber, 122 protein Have a great day!!

Wow nice day for you.. you got it going now.  glad to hear you are feeling better and up and running.  Little hard in the snow I know but you can do it.  you really are getting the fiber in.  very nice. Carla

Well just as I suspected...TOM is here and I am hungry...but I am ignoring the cattle call for grazing...the best I can. Been popping iron like candy! Oh yay!  Can't wait to see what lovely shades of green I will be seeing every two or three days if I am lucky!  Iron binds me...I struggled yesterday to get in my protein...But I couldn't do it. I made a homemade potato and leek soup...I hate TOM!  It hates me! LOL I just wanted carbs! I was pretty good though. B: Coffee w?soy and a scoop of protein (something new for me) L: 1 1/2 oz Broiled Orange Roughy and      2oz Shrimp ****tail      1/2 C Strawberries S: 16 almonds       3oz Chicken enchilada without the shell (was supposed to be a taste, but it tasted good) D: 6 "Fullmoon" sushi rolls (white rice...oh well...couldn't resist)       4oz seaweed salad      1/2 C cream of potato and leek soup with bacon crumbles S: 1/2 soymilk with one scoop protein mixed with 1 individual sf jello mix (something new)     3 strawberries chopped and added...Was pretty good!  Fat 40   Carbs 116   Protein 83   Fiber 14   Calories 1121

See we told you thats what it was.. Now the fun begins.. but u are aware of it and can handle it.  Just say not to the cattle call...  Nice day for you.. little low on the protein.. some dense protein would probably help curb your hunger pains. See ya tomorrow...  Carla
