Day 3 complete, I'm really liking this program, not struggling and not grazing......not even wanting carbs and sugar......I am looking forward to eating what I've planned.   Although I know today and tomorrow will be challenging at home. Tomorrow I have to remember that the dessert at MIL's isn't a need.  We went grocery shopping yesterday, bought lots of dense protein. February 29, 2008

Not the Same Dawn
on 2/29/08 10:40 pm - BEE EFF EEE, CA
I had almost the same issue with my cell phone yesterday. I knew it needed a charge when I left the house to go wedding dress "looking" with my daughter but I could NOT get the stupid thing to take a charge from my accessory port charger in the car. So I was without phone yesterday. I felt like I was walking around on the dark side of the moon...I couldn't TALK to anyone...Sometimes I think this technology is an updated ubilical cord for us all.  Breakfast: TVP and Mighty Tasty, Soy milk, dried pineapples (I had a mild dumping episode after this...Maybe the pineapples. I'm out now so no more of that).  Snack: 1 Mozzarella cheese stick and 1 Dannon Yogurt 4 oz Lunch: A baked potato at the Great Steak (something) at the mall. Steak, grilled onions, potato and some phoney cheese sauce. Figured that was pretty safe.  Snack: SoBe Granola Cluster Almond, SoBe Protein Drink Dinner: 1/3 pound Bison Burger and cheese plus a slice of onion on top of that. No bun.  Totals:  Calories: 1802 Fat: 76 Carbs: 160 Protein: 118 I really wanted a NSA fruit pie but the calories and the wheat in it said NO!
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!
