Welcome to Day 4
I am tickled to be on day 4 today. I got through day 3 without issue. Well other than the want of a Coke Zero. But I made it through without one and today is a new day. I was thrilled when I got on the scale this morning and it had moved below the 200 mark. Not far below, but it was still below. And if I have my way it will continue in that direction. The kicker this morning is that I left my food in the fridge at home. So in a few minutes I'm taking lunch and driving home to get it. It's not like this is a day I can just grab anything to eat. Thanks so much for your continued encouragement!
Hi, I also tried the 5DPT, started last Wednesday, finished on Sunday. I felt energized and empowered, but the scale only showed a 2 lb. drop, which is a little discouraging. I have continued on the "Day 5" menu, and have added veggies to it, and some fruit in my morning protein shake (which I make with 1/2 cup nonfat yogurt, 1/2 cup skim milk, and protein powder, mmmmmmmm.)
On a more positive note, my pants that did not fit two weeks ago are on my butt today, so that is progress!
This board is so encouraging. Keep it up! I've been away for a while now because I gained back 30 lbs. and felt like a failure. I should have known to come here for help!
