Well I'm one day down, 4 more to go.......I already feel in control because I did what I planned yesterday!  Really jonesing for meat and cheese though, looking forward to chicken salad and cheese tomorrow!

Mine was a success as well, although very boring... :-) 6 Atkins Advantage shakes = 960 / 54 / 30 / 90 1 EAS AdvantEDGE shake - 110 / 3 / 2 / 17 1 Muscle Milk Chocolate Pudding - 160 / 6 / 6 / 20 TOTAL = 1230 / 63 / 38 / 127 Hmmmm... Them Atkins shakes are a bit on the fatty side, huh?  I'm switching it around today :-) Angie

Morning Angie, Great Job!  Yea it was boring and last night I really wanted something salty but I know after today I'll get chicken salad or tuna salad and cheese.....I am so addicted to cheese I have it just about every day. Keep on truck'n!

That spice one sounded soooo good. I don't have any pumpkin spice but i think I have all the fixings for it anyway.  I was gonna try it last night and just didn't have the appetite to eat (drink) anything else...(A rare moment) :::giggles::: I'll probably try it later as a snack.  Even if it's a half a shake.  Good going on Day 1...I have a feeling this 5 DPT, will forever be a Grad thread!  It's really a wonderful way to get in control....but it's also a great way to be reminded even after the test to keep up that modified version of it...I totally stabilized my weight...Scale hasn't budged! It's what I wanted and so now I can rest easy on my intake and when I am ready...I'll lower things and see if I show a loss.   You are such a good friend to do this to help a friend.  Hugs Anita

Hey lady, if you don't have pumpkin spice I get allspice would be good too.  Yea the 5 dpt will be around I'm sure for a while, lol, I do think it's way better than the plateau buster diet thing that went around.....this one is for a shorter time and doeable. Hugs,

Chicken salad on day 3? I thought we weren't supposed to rely on may on the 5DPT?

Angela, day 3 is soft protein, which eggs, tuna and chicken salad are listed on the pouch test as examples.  Kay said mayo is fine if used in small quantities......I use the low fat mayo, very little just enough to stir it up, not enough to make it a slider food.

Way to go Dana!  I  also like that I plan my food the day before and then I eat what I've made the following day.  It's such a feeling of accomplishment. Just wait till you're done, you'll really feel great then. What is IDS Belgian Chocolate Protein?  It sounds like it might actually taste good .
