Can I play here?
Hi gang, I lurk on this forum a lot and I've posted once or twice. I'm 9 months out so I know technically I don't meet the "grad" definition. However, I'm essentially at goal so I feel I have a lot of the same issues as a "grad". Anyway, you seem like such a nice group and I'd like to participate.
But I understand that rules is rules
and if you want me to come back in 3 months when I'm an official grad I shall graciously comply...
Please be honest - I can take it!

Bekah,
Congratulations on your success! As far as I'm concerned, you are more than welcome!
The wonderful people of the grad board support each other through the trials of maintenance. It's not an easy thing to do, we all need help learning to do it. You'll get lots of good advice here.
One diffference from the main board, you won't necessarily get immediate responses as there's generally less activity. But you'll always find the posts valuable!

Bekah,
I say . . . welcome!
I agree that if you're at goal and are addressing a lot of the same issues that we are--and have lurked enough to want to join us, hey!
What I am about to say is totally good-natured--but . . . sob . . .
. . . I currently weigh almost exactly what you weighed on your surgery day!!! (I realize you are r-e-a-l-l-y short, but oh my!!) I think I can like you anyway!

Always,
Jo
