Gaining gaining gaining!

I have gained about 15 pounds back since reaching my goal back in April of last yr. I never seem to be hungry and end up going half the day with out eating. Could this be the cause for gaining? I know what I should be eating and drinking but can't seem to get it done..How do I get back on track?  I would like to loose 5-10 and then maintain it.

I do believe that you must eat to lose or maintain weight.  You say that you go half the day without eating, but then what do you eat when you eat?  Are you making good choices. My surgery was in December of 2005 so we're not far from each other.

Cynthia, You are probebly slowing your metabolism.  You need to eat regulary and get in good foods.  journal what you are eating and make sure you are getting adequet nutrition.  I use fitday and that helps me .  I had a 30 pound regain so you are not alone.  I am working on reversing it.  This forum is a great help.  Good Luck

Cynthia, you definitely need to plan your meals and eat something throughout the day, you are slowing your metabolism and your body is holding on to what you eat, basically it thinks you are in starvation mode and won't allow your body to process the food you eat. When you eat make sure you are eating dense protein, good vegetables and fruit. Good luck!

Thanks for your responses.  I went to fitday .com and started logging my food.  Over the last 2 days I have  only gotten between 750 and 870 calories and about 60 grams of protein.  The protien was only 40 but I've started doing an Unjury shake a day.  I didn't realize how low I was on everything. Thanks again.
