Labs?

I have a dr. appointment this monday for a check up - havent had labs drawn in a long time - feeling tired and run down - what should I be sure to have checked? THanks!

have them check your B12 and Iron... i have very low iron ...have had to get infusions as well as b12 shots every 2 weeks, i always notice when i am running low because i get very tired and run down when they are... most doctors check those normally anyway but you may want to find out if you are running low in those areas... i have a major absorption problem ever since the surgery in 04 so all my levels are low... even my blood count is.. i have to have transfusions every 3 months.  hope you feel better soon.... let me know how it goes...

I agree; B12 and Iron are the biggies. You may also want your blood sugar checked. Bex

Hey, I was feeling the same way and hadn't been in to the docs for 18 months.  Turns out I was low in B-12 and iron (anemic).  I've been taking my vites every day for over a week and starting to feel slightly better.  My doc says it can take a month or more to feel better noticeably.
