Really Fun NSV's - Just Had to Share

So I've lost 170 pouns in the last 14 months and you can guess how different I look.  Yesterday I went to a seminar where I saw several people I have known for a long time, but haven't seen since I've lost weight.  I had the most fun and really enjoyed the experience of such a change. I'm on a committee with the first one, but hadn't seen her for about ten months.  She looked at me for a mnute or so just trying to take my face in.  She didn't know who I was for the first few seconds and just atared at me.  It was like a mental pause, then she said WOW.... The other two were guys that I worked with.  They were talking to each other so I went to join the conversation.  They acknowledged my pesence but continued their conversation.  We were all waiting until they were done with what they were saying to bring me into the conversation.  Neither or them had any idea who I was.  One of them, who I worked with the most, looked at me and I could see it dawning on him - Yes? No? Yes?  sure looks like her? is it?  So I say hi and the other one has absolutely no idea who I am, so I show him my name tag and they both go WOW.... It was so much fun and such a boost to my ego.  Everyone, not just these people, were telling me how amazing I look.  I have to admit I really enjoy surprising people now.  At first it was hard for me, but now they are so delighted that it is lots of fun!

That's just awesome!  I love those moments too!  Every now and then I run into one of my kids friends and they are so besides themselves!  It's nice...After a while you run outta people who haven't seen you and then you find strangers turning their heads or young men smiling at you!:::wiggling eyebrows:::   One time a little girl in a shopping cart was smiling at me...so I told her she was such a pretty little lady and she says you are a pretty little lady too!  I just :::melted::: I almost stole her and ran...But ...well...there were cameras in the store!  Oh well... Hugs and I hope you have many many more "warm fuzzies" BTW! 170lbs!  MY GAWD!!! That's just awesome!!!! That's two TWO regular size teens!!!  You should be sooooooo proud of yourself!  Way to go!
