Day 2 of Pouch test

Well Good morning to my loving supportive friends, I'm happy to report......I made it through day 1  It was tough but I finally can say I did it without cheating. Unlike the last time when I only made it half the day....lol Now day 2 will be a challenge but I can do it.... I can do it.... I can do it...... I will do it I'm home today with my 20 month old daughter who had a fever yesterday and cannot go back to daycare until she has been fever free for 24 hours. Well let's just say she is a ball of energy and the fever went away last night.  I was afraid this morning thinking oh my goodness what am I going to do? All this good food in the house and all I can consume is liquids...gees Well I made her a pancake and I didn't even taste it. I made myself a lovely protein shake out of some ingredients I received from the lady at Smoothie King. I love those protein shakes but they can get rather expensive. So I purchased the big thing of Gladiator so I could do it here at home at guess what...it was yummy. I used ice, two scoops of powder, pineapple chunks in the can, and sugar free strawberry gel. That's what the kind lady at Smoothie King told me to use and actually it tasted just like their's.  I think I'm going to get out of the house today so I don't be tempted to cheat. It seems as long as I'm busy I don't even think about food. I'll keep you all update. Thanks for listening. And by the way thank you to everyone *****sponded with all that great advice from my post on yesterday. Geminibabe said she's on board with me so check in girly and let me know how you are doing. I am on Day 4, so let me just encourage you to hang in there today!  Day 3 is so much better--you will appreciate actually "eating" and the food will taste so good! I'm so glad I'm doing this!  I can't say that I feel free from food cravings, but I am doing OK and most definitely needed this "grip on reality" of what I was eating before!  I am not physically hungry, but the head hunger I'm still fighting.   Let's keep it up and then really pay attention to what we're adding back into our eating after we complete it!

Oh YUM ! I'm going to try that shake today ! I've already done the 5dayer & it worked for me. Every once in a while I'll take a day & go back to it. It really does make a differance. Glad your doing better than before. Nothing ventured...nothing "gained" Take care
