Small world indeed! I've never eaten good texMex outsaide of Texas....We do have a pub round the corner that serves it--and it's not that bad---but it isn't TexMex... Funny about the chicken words---cracks me up!! Take care, Ruth! Kim

Anita, I spent several years in Germany myself as a Army soldier.  I met my husband, got married, and we had our first child while stationed there.  Such a small world.  Dan was born in Heidelberg in 1979 - Lord, I am getting old - but I look good!!!!  LOL  I,  too, have not had any plastics done and hate the skin.... My face is really showing my age now but it is a small price to pay to be healthy.  I do want to have some PS done but the money is not right - I am saving up but not at a place where I can afford it right now. Anyway, just want to say "Howdy" and to share that I, too, was a brick house in that uniform until I started having kids and let myself go. Thank God for WLS and getting my health and life back. Hugs, Sharon

OH!!! I loved Heidelburg!!!! it was driving distance from Wiesbaden so we'd go often on weekends!  We went during the lighting of the castle!  That was stunning to see the entire thing lit up with candles to represent a fire from history!  I don't remember the entire story...I went back to Germany before my surgery with my kids as teens...I wanted them to see where they were born...I'd give up plastics to go back!  LOL You DO look good! You look better than good!  (You aged yourself giving us the date of your son!) But I'd never have guessed!  Not from your photo! But yes...kids can really take a tole on a girl...even an army girl...And look at us now!  Old enough to be hot grandmas! <----I hate that word! LOL hey...How is your diabetes? Are you still taking insulin or do you have it under control with diet? I only had diabetes for 6 months before surgery and only two days afterwards!  AMAZING!!!! Salutes and hugs! Anita

I love this show too!  I must admit that there's no way on earth that I'd do this on national TV--I'm barely willing to do it at home!--but I'm glad these women are willing to be one this show cause it's very enlightening & encouraging!  I am very happy with the way I look in clothes, even with some weight I'm trying to re-lose, but oh my--at age 58, with wrinkly bat wings, atrocious cottage cheese thighs, & a very lumpy mid-section, naked is not pretty on me!

Always,
Jo

I'm with you girls! (Tracy and Jo) <---both look great with clothes on! hehee ...But...No way! Not on TV! But then again..I see the before and after plastics and I am amazed that people are comfortable posting photos of themselves in their skivies!   I do wonder how they get these women to agree to do the show at all!  Especially with how they feel in the beginning of the show...It does give me some inspiration...Not to take off my clothes for all to see!  LOL But to accept I'm not a Swimsuit model nor will I ever be...but that I can feel lovely in my clothes with really awesome granny panties on!  :::Wink::: hugs
