Let me just say that sharpeis are extremely handsome, as you can tell from my avatar ;-) I look good naked so long as it is (1) pitch-dark and (2) my glasses are in another room.

the show is fantastic.....all very tastefully done.....in one of the shows, the participant mentioned something about "five days", so i'm guessing they spend about a week doing all this....and style: lol....wonder how they do that.....

I know...I just love it!  Almost makes me want to shoot a few shots to see if I can do it myself!  Then I think...naw!!! I'll jus****ch!  :::Well maybe I might try it...nice thing about digital cameras is the delete button::: Good luck on your surgery!  I can't wait to see the "after photos" I bet you are getting excited!  I'm excited for you!  It's nice to have a wife that is already seasoned and knows what to expect...so she'll help you along.  Can't wait to see the after photos of the two of you!  Anita

I live in England--and that show started here. They have several variations on it, too. The documentaries over here are incredible! They're the best thing about living in England--well that and BBC4 radio - which is what NPR is modeled after! A funny note...this weekend I saw a bunch of family that I haven't seen since surgery--and I was telling them I had no boobs left...they asked me had I ever heard of "chicken cutlets"---plastic boobs you put in your bra under your real boobs! Do we call them that in the US too??? Best, Kim

I love European TV...I lived in London for a month! (I was telling Ruth that because she's from the UK too... ) Then we got transfered to Germany all too soon. Mix up in military orders...But the BBC shows are sooooo fun. They hold nothing back and talk about EVERYTHING. Americans would croak if they saw how silly-naughty the Brits are during family TV hours!  You'd have all kinds of protestors here.  About the chicken cutlets!  That is funny ...that is what they look like! I dunno anyone that uses them or what they call them...I'm just happy for padded bras!  LOL Hugs Anita

We're at RAF Lakenheath--about 70 miles from London. Before that we were in hanau Germany--I really miss Germany!!! We're civilians---but certainly part of the military culture over here! Have you seen Little Britain or Catherine Tate??? Best, Kim

Kim...It's been years since I was at RAF Alconbury...I didn't get to stay long enough to really enjoy it long enough so I made the best of my month there! It was soooo quaint and lovely there. I watch some BBC on Direct TV...But I've not seen the two you mentioned. I watch some of the comedy soaps they have and they are soooo funny...I still watch Benny Hill...GAWD I love that silly little man. We have "How clean is your house?"  and "Are you what you eat?" They are usually a few years behind...but it's better than nothing. I don't remember the names of the shows I watch now and then...but they are so cute. I searched for both shows and we have Catherine Tate...so i just recorded the next show!  :)  (Comes on in a few days) Didn't have Little Britain though. Germany was gorgeous!  Both my kids were born in Wiesbaden outside of Frankfurt. I worked as a civilian Air Traffic Control Asst there...so I knew all the bases at one time...my chopper pilots flew to Hanau quite often...I know the way there by air!!! And I know where all the high tension wires are along the way!  LOL they didn't fly without going thru me first! ;)   Do you like the food in England?  I didn't particulary care for anything but the fish and chips and ale and  tea! (But of, course) Everything else was weird and covered in strange sauces and puddings and glazes. LOL  I ate on base!   Hugs Anita

Catherine Tate is shocking--so be prepared! I think you can Google Little Britain--and there may be some clips on youtube. The food here is pretty poor for the most part---and everything is OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive~! We've been here for 2.5 years--and we're going totally broke. The post allowance doesn't even start to cover it...

I *love* Wiesbaden! Fortunately I get over there pretty frequently. Food in Germany is TONS better than here...

I have a meeting with folks from Alconbury tomorrow :-)

Take care,

Kim
