Hey Everyone

It's Friday and they are talking about another storm for us this weekend.  Freezing rain and sleet.   Now give me a snow storm any day, but that ice scares the freckles off of me  Ok, age spots

I made it to my boxing class last night and I am going to skip lunch and go to my class early tonight.  My husbands boss invited us out to dinner.  I am struggling with an issue here and thought I would share with you guys.  You are always full of great ideas

I love the boxing class, it really works me cardio, endurance and strength wise.  However, my bread and butter (sorry for the example, I am a southern gal) is my weight lifting.  The plan was to get up in the morning and go do my weight lifting routine and then after work go to my boxing class.  I find I am sleeping to late and it's time for me to log on and work so I am not going  I need the weight lifting due to bone loss, my age and I just love it. 

Any thoughts?  I think I may need a good alarm clock or maybe go to bed earlier.  All I know is I have to get back on track.

Hi Kathy, That has always been a struggle for me too about getting up.  I start work at 7am and getting up any earlier than 5 am just aint happening. I know you totally work your azz off but maybe its time to get smarter, quality not quantity.  There has to be a happy medium.  Don't know what it is because I struggle with it too. You are so much more advanced than me in your physical activity and knowledge of it, maybe a professional is your answer to bounce this off of? Hold on to your skinny pants cause its going to get ugly this weekend AGAIN!

Going to the gym tomorrow, spending the afternoon with my best girlfriend....

Now shake what your mamma gave ya!

Hi Tammy I hear we are going to get freezing rain and sleet.....  Just take me out back and shoot me I am going to my class tonight and the gym early tomorrow so if we get stranded at least you and I will be able to say we moved on Saturday. Going to try and go to bed earlier and see if that helps. Never been an early person and admire those that do get up and go early. Be safe my friend!!!! Take care, Kathy

Hi Kathy!!!  I know if I had to get up early to workout I'd probably be lucky if I did it half the time~that's such a tough thing!!!! Any way you can rotate the workouts if you can only get there in the evening~ex: do weights m/w/f and kick boxing t/t/s???? today I didnt' do a traditional workout b/c I was tired!!!! I just did some free weights, push ups, crunches, ran up/down the steps, squats..........I think that was it. I did, however, set the dvr to tape 5 or 6 different workouts on FitTv and they were different things like Yoga, Shimmy which is belly dancing, etc. I'm exciting to check those workouts out!!!!!!!!! Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!!!!!!

Hi Tracy, Good idea....I will have to try that If you are tired, try taking the weekend off.  I know it's hard by we need to recharge our batteries from time to time. You be safe this weekend and have fun. See ya Monday

I was going to take  it really easy on Friday but when I looked down at my pedometer..I already had 4.8 miles on that sucker...I just can't sit still. I'm trying to stay slow today and have still put 2 and a half miles on there between pictures of the outside of the house and getting ready for a neighborhood barbeque tomorrow. AND the big Daytona Race..Got to watch that. LOL. That means at least being in the same room as the television. Maybe I'll fold laundry or iron clothes while I watch..Or do some more spring cleaning (cobwebs on the ceiling and stuff)
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!
