Accountability... what did you eat Tuesday

Well another day. Not a good day for me food or life wise.  Vet thinks my docs tumor is back and is affecting her kidneys and liver.  If that is so we wont be able to do anything for her.  We ran bloodwork today and will have the results by tomorrow.  She is looking a bit better from the antibotics but it is marginal. So I will need to add a shake to my night to catch up to my protein number, but right now the chicken upset my stomach  dont know why but it did.  So I will wait a while before I stick anything in there to see if it gonna get happy. Here was my day.

I totally blew it today and I'm struggling with my choices and how to deal with it.  This has been my worse day in about 3-4 weeks, disgusting. February 12, 2008

Wow is all I can say.  that carb monster got you today.  just snacky type things.  Still you kept the protein up which is a good thing.  Time to reset and get that ship out of dry dock.  We all have days like this.. Horrible bad day for me. I tried to catch it up with yogurt.  Breakfast: SF Maple Oatmeal (one pack), protein powder, 1 Tb Wheat Germ and soy milk 1 cup.  Snack: No snack. this is when I went home from work.  Lunch 1 cheese stick. 1/2 cup of roasted salted green peas, 1 home made protein bar, medium orange Dinner: 4 oz stewed beef that I put on earlier in the day, 1 small sweet potato and 2 medium carrots, all stewed. We ate at 5:00 and at 6:00 I had a Special K2O drink. Snack before bed: 1 Dannon Yogurt pack (4 oz) and 4 pc of SF Russel Stovers. Something gave me bend-me-over gas pains and I went to bed at 7 pm. I woke up at 1:30 again and tossed and turned until now...Lovely.  Totals: Calories: 1696 FatL 63 Carbs: 205 (and you know, these didn't make me feel any better) Protein: 100
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

OK.. take a deep breath.. Not that bad of a day.. you have your protein up.  carbs are up as well. but right now you can afford them.  gotta love the gas pains.. I feel you on that one.  The last thing you need is more stress right now.. try and find that happy place.. where there is no one you want to smack and go their in your mind.  I know this is tough.. but you gotta find a calm space.  You can do it if you set your mind to it.  Go for a long walk with the dog if you can.   We are all here for you. Here's my day: B - Aunt Jemima Breakfast Sandwich, Venti Breve Caffe Mocha from Starbucks S - 1/2 c. trail mix L - Crab imperial, Celery & peanut butter S - Venti breve Caffe Mocha S - venti breve caffe mocha D - homemade macaroni & cheese made w/ high protein pasta & lots of ham. 1 c. I was busy as all get out yesterday!  And strangely disinterested in food... Bronwen, the nutritional info you listed looks high IMO for what you had......what is the nut info on the Venti Breve Caffe Mocha?
